Hi All....
Well, I installed my 28-29 headlight bar and 28-29 reproduction halogen lights, purchased from Labarron Bonnie....Now the low beams work great, but only one high beam works....Do I need to replace the on/off switch for the higher amps and if so anyone have a part number for the switch?
Thanks....
If one of your high beams lites comes on its not your switch, it has to be a bad connection or ground, run a jumper wire to the high beam conection. Now your high beam side is burned out. the jumper wire should tell you the story.

HI Everyone: I installed new 9" 28 headlamps with quartz halogen lights.
Lots brighter and I did have an issue with the "solder" melting out of fuzes, but I replaced the bad "switch/fuzeholder" and now I am good to go except for one little glitch.
When I was "enroute" to completion I had placed little signs on my wires to keep track of ground and hot wires and they got cut and spliced.
Since I am color blind as well its to keep wires "addressed" so to speak.
It got so hot here the adhesive melted and the tags fell off.
So I got everything working but when I change from dim to bright I got one on and one off on either side.
Best solution for me was I adjusted one down, until I remove the radiator and do my "remodel".
PS I need to buy a Weber carb fast any ideas please
Just my two cents but during the installation this week of the new COWL LAMPS, I learned a lot about the importance of the GROUND wires...I now have a different appreciation for the need and use of GROUNDS to make the world a "brighter place".
I installed a grounding block (home type from home depot) on the fire wall near the battery. Now when ever I have to ground something it goes right to that block. No more problems.
