Ebay # 230334113564. So what do you think? Besides the scratching, probably a good idea? Kinda pricey at $365 shipped.
Sellers name is "irhandsome" (thats a good one), wonder if he is a member?
I will offer more info when I repost to ebay ....and you are correct Steve Lexan is more costly and much stronger than plexiglass ,however you can still scratch it, its the nature of the beast. It is however a very easy conversion ,I do most of the work for you....sorry Gary,Steve, not trying to advertise here, ebays the place fer that, simply reponding to thread...
In order for this design to work, the material has to be flexable yet durable...the rear "glasses" are mounted in a special channel rubber to protect the paint and top as well as provide somewhat of a air seal and yet still flexable to hook under the top frame...the front "glasses" are also mounted in rubber and have to flex slightly when opening the door....you cut only the original front panels per a template I will provide and attach to the new panels, useing the predrilled holes...and still use your original top valance...you discard the original rear panels....all shays are not exactly the same, ie; windshield slant, top arch etc. so there is room built in the design to adjust for this..
