Are you looking for an old fashion 2 shaft radio, like the one that came originally in your Shay, but with a CD? I don't think you will find one.
Also You can call Crutchfield .com and ask the experts.
I like Kenwood and just installed one. You should be able to find something under $100. Also I would recommend the radio you purchase have a remote control.
Mounting was easy. I used right angle metal brackets I got at Walmart for around a dollar. I can give you more specific information if you want.
The old style is hard to find and probably will not have a cd player.
The din works much easier, they are the standard of replacement radios now.
The tray may be harder locate than the radio/cd. I ended up fabricating a support box for our Arizona Shay that screwed into the square metal tube that runs across the and behind the dash.
The speakers are in a bad position also and may be blown or full of dirt. I replaced one set in our Michigan Shay. But kept the original radio it played fine with new speakers.
Sitting so low in the car makes them hard to hear when driving over the road noise.
