Thanks to the efforts of Bob Cowgill, the Shay Info card has been enlarged and copied, suitable to be used as a placard for public showing. It is recommended that this be printed on photo paper, perhaps laminated for weather protection.

Right click with your mouse on the picture below, save it as a .jpg file to your computer then print. This is a large file and will take some time to download.

I just discovered that Photobucket reduces the size of the image. The picture above will not print to 8.5" X 11", so if you want the correct .jpg image or the .pdf image that will copy to the proper size, please email me and I will send the file to you.

All I did was to "RIGHT CLICK" and "SAVE PICTURE AS" which sent it to my photo gallery..

From there, I printed it and it came out to pretty much 81/2 X 11 size.

The original image files are larger with more detail (pdf fle is 5 mgb and the jpg file is 3 mgb as opposed to the Photobucket file which is 300 kb), and should print out cleaner. They are available for anyone who might want them.

It appears the reference on the placard to www.shaymodela.com is an advertisment for godaddy.com. Would it be possible to remove it from the placard and just use with the geocities/shaymodela link?

It is on the shelf for now by Bob Watson.Yahoo is going to stop the free use the geocities.com this summer and we will be told more about this move. So for the mean time we will be as is, but maybe we will be able to do that then. They said they will update us later on this move to pay for their Hosting Website unit with free domain name.

As mentioned by Gary, the other domain name on the card is one that we used for a short time, and is now parked. We (the Club) have use of that name, and will be using that again soon, as we will lose the usage of the Geocities information site that is administerd by Gary. Yahoo is shutting down that service and going to a paid format. We will be creating a new site, and will use the domain name of "shaymodela.com" on that new site. The SOCI forum will NOT be affected by the change.

It is up in the air right now, but we will be keeping people informed as we make the change-over.
