Info. for you truck owners out there. I just got off of the phone and ordered my convertible top and pads. According to Mac's this top is specifically for the SHAY. It comes in two types of grains. Here are the part numbers ATRK/1B29S-3B (colonial grain) ATRK/1B29S-4B (cobra short grain). Pads part number is TPR27. Total cost w/shipping $323.00. Just FYI for all.
Dave,
Did you tell Mac's you were looking for a top for the PICK UP. I could be wrong but I think the roadster and the pick up are differant. I installed one of there tops on my roadster and I think it's great.
Made triple sure it was for a truck. I seemed to have read somewhere though (do not qoute me) that the the truck was the same exact shell as was used for the cars they just added a bed. Maybe not, could be all the rain we are having in Florida soaking my brain. Thanks for checking with me! Dave
YOU CAN'T FOLD A PICKUP TOP LIKE YOU CAN A COUPE ,IT DOES NOT FOLD,BE READY TO REMOVE THE PICKUP TOP AND HANG IN ON THE WALL B4 YOU LEAVE HOME .
ON THE HIGHWAY ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO,BUT I DO THEM BOTH AS THE WEATHER DICTATES .

I SHOULD HAVE SAID WHEN I DRIVE THE PICKUP I MAKE THE DECISION IF ITS GOING BE BAD WEATHER I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE TOP ON,AS IT DOES NOT FOLD ANYWHERE .IF ITS THE COUPE I CAN MAKE THE DECISION ON THE HIGHWAY ANYTIME BECAUSE THE COUPE TOP FOLDS EASILY INTO THE RUMBLE AREA WHEN IF AND IF REQUIRED.

Hey Paul, well it rains just about every evening in the spring and summer here in Florida. When its not doing that, you are baking in the sun the rest of the time. So I figure I will just keep the top on all the time. I thought about making it a folding top. Don't have the time to work on that just yet. Dave
Hey Dave,
I just came back from a short trip to West Palm Beach,I bought my pickup in the Tampa area nearly 20 years ago,the top is little more work than with the coupe but as I say ,make the decision b4 you leave the house,up or down.
The rain does not bother me to much because I always have onboard raingear but snow and ice in winter eastern Canada is something else.I just got both Shays out recently and trying to get some miles in b4 winter sets in again...Shay well !
