Hey all,

I finally finished my winter project. The new dash for Bernadette. If anyone is curious as to the parts used, feel free to email me @ papergoods@aol.com.
And yes, that is a motorcycle speedometer. Thinking outside the box helps.

Chris

To the uninitiated that looks like a very authentic dash.

Congratulations on a phenomenal job.

I am assuming you replaced the original plastic dash with a real Model A metal reproduction? Looks real good. Thanks for the pictures.

The dash I used is a fiberglass one from Macs Antique Auto Parts. Its in the catalogue in the street rod parts section. Part # A11001A. $144.00. It took a lot of measuring, and some careful trimming.

Where did you get the steering wheel and what brand is it?

The steering wheel is a Grant 950. Its 14 1/2 inches with a 2 inch dish. I found it on Ebay. The car already had a Grant steering wheel on it, so I never needed to buy an adaptor.
