Emergency Brake Boot

Hi Larry,

We had some discussions on this subject here in the FORUM about a month ago so others share your interest.

As it would be nearly impossible to get an exact duplicate, it would behove you to check out eBay especially under LOKAR which is a supplier of aftermarket BRAKE and SHIFTER BOOTS.

In fact, I will be changing mine one of these days...LOKAR part number 70-EHBF looks like the one I'll buy...I like the CHROME SURROUND that comes with it and shouldn't take any more than 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new.

The company that is listed says they will make a boot for someone for free. Just send your old one as a pattern. Then the rest of us can order one. Who will be the "test" case.

Thanks Mike, that is good reference. I was curious about price...ball park wise. Looked up a 87-93 Mustang, boot only, no trim, black "real" leather. $49 + 9 shipping. Looks like they make a real good product. Thanks again. Guess it would be worth it? You can also order boots for both the sift and emergency brake together for one price.

Steve the reason I listed the site was where you could form your own opinion, let others do the same.
