Because of recent abuses on the Forum, it has been decided that any anonymous postings will be deleted from the forum. Anyone wishing to post must log in and provide a legitimate email address.
Don will everyone have to log in or just post name and email address before posting? I understand the problem, but have always liked the easy access to the forum of not having to log in each time.
Morgan,
It would be preferred to log in, but a name AND email would be OK, and any new posters with unfamiliar names will be contacted to verify email addresses.
If you check your account info, it has a part that will keep you log in for up to 2 months I think, so if you post or reply once in a while you will be logged in all the time.

As the recipient, some say target, of some of the "anonymous" and "phony name" abuses and personal attacks you mention, I want to commend you in making this change possible..It is one of the most needed.
Occasionally, one of us may forget to log in which is not a problem as our names and e-mail address should appear in the upper right hand corner of each message in some form, but it will eliminate those that hide behind curtains of anonymity.
I agree. Thanks for the change. It was much needed.
It was very annoying not to see who the person was.
And why "hide" anyway, since we are all Internet friends.
This change will hopefully eliminate the rude comments.
