Does the Shay have mustang II front end or Pinto? I have seen it described both ways. I want to lower the front and wonder if anyone has used Mustang II drop spindles.
When I am explaining to people, sometimes I just say "Ford rack and pinion steering", as they (Ford) used it on a lot of different models and who knows what else might have made it out the doors hangin on a Shay.
I read somewhere (probably here) that Ford still had the tooling for the pickup beds.....
so they (Ford) made and supplied (Shay) with brand new Ford pickup beds that were steel and totally authentic.
Wish I could have found one of those with an automatic before I bought my SD Roadster automatic.
