Just a reminder to those that have not registered yet, that time is growing short. Cut off date for SOCI room rates and meet registrations is August 17th. Here are a few details:
The meet is schedueled for Sept. 17,18,19 $20.
Guest Motel is the Hampton Inn in Salisbury. Please see the "Future Meetings"
page on this website for motel rates and contact details and the more detailed list of activities. There is ample trailer parking next to the motel.
Thursday,Sept.17th
Registration in the motel lobby from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Evening meal your choice (subject to change).
Friday Sept.18th-
9:00 AM leave from the motel for the drive to Mount Airy (Mayberry).
Saturday Sept.19th-
9:00 AM drive from the motel to the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC.
12:00 Drive to Gold Hill for lunch at the Gold Miner's Daughter Resturant and tour the shops and village.
Sunday, Sept. 20th.
Motel check out and good-by's.
