The first A.P.S.C. took place this weekend [8-28 & 8-29] in Springfield, Illinois. A good time was had by all. The agenda was as follows: Visit...Eat...Cruise...Sleep...repeat. Attendees were Judd and Nancy Schwindenhammer and Les and Sandy Patrick. We cruised the town...re-visited the Apple Barn...cruised Lake Springfield...visited the city of Petersburg and the cementery where Anne Rutledge [Abraham Lincoln's first girl friend] is burried...did some antique shopping and finished with food at The Oaks on Seventh Street [a quaint tea room...the guys loved it], Judd and Les enjoyed a pint or two at the Q & A Pub.
Location of next year's A.P.S.C.[Annual Patrick Schwindenhammer Cruise] will be determined as the time gets closer. Everyone is welcome to participate.
