Who needs a cup holder

I have always wanted a cupholder in my roadster. A cupholder that would not show when not in use. This pic. shows the cupholder ready to use. When not in use the holder swivels under the dash and out of sight.[linked image]
This pic. shows the holder swivelled out of sight.
I made my cupholder out of 3/16 birch ply... 1/4 birch ply would work or other material such as Lexan or aluminum would also work. The hole size is 3 inch which will accomodate pop or coffee cups.

You found me out... my roadster is a Shell Valley Shay.
Apparently Shell Valley purchased some Shay parts after Shay,s demise. They then put together a few roadsters and also sold some kits.
They are still in business in Platte Centre, NE

JIM: I can not believe that you have Custom Made Cup Holders and NOTHING in them?? Would you belive that I attended a SOCI MEETING and WON two glasses with SOCI LOGO that would look great in that cup holder.. Look under SOCI ITEM AVAILBLE on our web site.... THANKS... Dave Shank

JIM: Contact SOCI Member Bob Cowgill he provived the tumblers and glasses. They are really neat beccause the logo is inside the glass, so it does not wear out.... THANKS... Dave Shank
