I just received my December issue of Hemmings Classic Car, there is a great article by Patrick Foster regarding replicas and that they often dont get the respect they deserve. Shays are mentioned several times. If you get it check it out, page 39.
My wife and I went on the last two Hemmings Motors News Cruise.. We had a great time! One of the Cruise On Board contest is a " DOOR DECORATING CONTEST " and we did our door with SOCI Members pictures. We got a LOT!! of attention, but no big awards. I did petition the editorial staff to do a article about SHAY.. They always said they would but never did.. The Hemmings Motor News Cruise are a great time and their next one is in Feburary of 2010....Theresa and I will be with our SHAY at the BEACH!!!! DAVE SHANK
