Has anyone had experience ordering and installing Mac's Open Car Top Roof Kit ATRK/1B29S-3B. Can I do it myself, is it user friendly and well made? I need a replacement top for my Shay, but the best quote for a professional top replacement was $1,000. So I would like to DIY if possible.

I did it about 2 years ago. If your handy you can do it. If not buy the kit and shop around I have heard that some people have gotten them installed for $300. - $400. I'll email you a copy of the instructions.
CLAY: I purchased a Mac's Black Canvas top kit. I found a local installed who came to my home with all of the tools and talents and installed for $125.00. It worked out great... THANKS... Dave Shank
