That list should be enough to keep my ears and head busy for a while. I really like DJ Premier's productions, I've only heard a couple of tracks and they're nasty. I've always liked Blackstar, but haven't checked out either Mos Def's or Talib Kwali's solo albums. I'll check out the Jigmastas too - I've been hearing alot of good things about them but I'd prefer to hear good things by them.
You should really check out the Paradox - go the first Saturday of any month and its Basement Boys night. Teddy has consistently played certain 'Paradox-Anthems' and I haven't heard anybody rock those tracks like he has. He's been playing some of these cuts for over twenty years and the man OWNS them. The sound system, that elevated, spring loaded wooden dance floor, and the hotdogs at the deephouse cafe make the place sick. I'll have to admit though, the first time I was taken there, I took me a bit to get out of my comfort zone. It's a sea of gay black men - and I'm a skinny little chink... but now that element makes the place unique for me.
