HYDRANGEA TREES

Hi, im new here, i blog on gardnersgumbo, found this so i thought i'd ask something. I just planted 6 hydrangea tree's and they went into shock, i need to know if i should prune them now, that the flowers have turned brown, but i heard it will leaf out again, but the flowers are done im sure!

but welcome. It is always sad when plants die, hope they come back for you, did you end up pruning them? I had some avacado trees that just died because someone forgot to water them..so sad.

Those plants don't grow well where I live. Too oppresively hot here.
