  • Too Much of a Nude Thing?

Along with John Kundert (Fig Leaf Forum), I am excited to hear that I was able to help you along. Now sometimes I still struggle, but I need to learn to listen to God and what he has to say.

Sometimes I wonder if I am going nude too much (is that possible?). One can go nude too much if it is taking away from your family, church, community and other responsibilities. I enjoy taking walks in our neighborhood with my wife and daughter, or go into town and do something, so, unfortunately, I have to get dressed. But believe me, I don't get dressed until everyone else is dressed because it take me only a minute to get dressed! But if going nude is legal and acceptable by the community, then there is no going nude too much!

But naturism has helped me to be more relaxed, enjoy life more, and learning to listen to God (on more than just naturism). I also am less self conscious about my body. I am working on it to lose some weight and become healthier, but at least I am comfortable in it a lot more than I used to be.

There are times I feel a strong temptation to just walk on out naked and do whatever I want to do out there (front yard and beyond). I do go nude in my backyard a lot. I have pushed the envelope with side yard and some front yard, but that has to do with the time of day and being very observant (another plus of how naturism affected us).

But I keep praying, is this the right time? Is it necessary? Am I "tempting" God with my pushing the boundaries? Am I letting my naturism distract me from what is really important? Is naturism on equal footing with other important things in life? Or am I just being silly and need to find some other "more important" things?.....nah.

I need to stop doubting, but doubting makes us push us harder to listen to God and hear His voice. I can go on like this but you get the picture.

How has it affected my life? Not just mine, but many lives of those I meet. Did you know that I have never had a naturist live next door to me? But every person I have met in my neighborhood had a naturist live on their block, if not next door to them! It doesn't matter where I move, it's the same story! I'm jealous.

I'm glad to have had a small part in helping you Joch!

      Boyd
