Several of our "Regulars", especially Boss Boyd" [gotta' be de' boss - working for himself these days], indicate that they and/or their spouses drive and/or nude, at least occasionally. A. and I have had very limited experience with this. On her part is a sound
fear that "exposure" would result in at least a professional career disaster.
This started out as a simple question, took on a life of its own and wound up as a long setup to a different question. Please forgive me. Given all of the problems that occur whenever any kind of nakedness is involved, it is a possible problem that could impact Social Nudism in general and Christian Social Nudism in particular.
Let's create a Biblically based nudist couple [any resemblance to 'real regulars' is totally accidental and unintentional!!]:: "Zeke" is 38 years old; "Marlena" is 36 years old and a happy-stay-at-home Mom. They have three [3] kids:: "Andrea" -- 13 years old, several years into puberty, and a "middle schooler" [whatever happened to Jr. High School??]; "Joe" -- 10 1/2 years old, not quite into puberty [what do they call "Elementary School" these days??]; and, "Roseanna" -- a stay-at-home wide-open 5 year old. The older two kids attend local county schools while "Zeke", an assistant manager in a iron-working manufacturing plant, commutes daily to that job.
This family lives in the country [real old fashioned term -- not a "planned community" - about 35 miles from a medium-sized city {{say 150,000 in population}} in the North Central U. S. of A. The nearest neighbors are about 500 yards on either side. The
rural road on which they live is fairly heavily traveled during the day, but only lightly during the night.
"Zeke" and "Marlena" became Christian Social Nudists about 7 years ago after practicing the "proper Christianity" ingrained into them from childhood -- "Naked Skin = Naked Sin". The transition to innocent Christianity childhood nudity went well for "Andrea" and "Joe" due to their then young ages. They, and later, "Roseanna", have learned when and with whom they can and cannot share about Christian nudism. There have been no problems, so far. As a family, they
often drive and ride nude after dark on their rural road. Occasionally, they get "natural" when they are on other rural, lightly traveled roads. They have a station wagon; all family members are properly belted-in and secured at all times.
However, the family chariot is relatively low; drivers and riders in vehicles with higher ground clearance can see into the "Zeke Wagon", which doesn't have tinted windows. Late one summer afternoon, the family is "au natural" on the way home. A SUV passes going in the opposite direction. A "proper Christian" mother is driving and sees "Zeke" and "Andrea" on the driver's side of the "Zeke Wagon". Also, her son, sitting behind her, has taken a digital picture of "Naked Andrea".
What are the consequences of this chance encounter?? [1.] The SUV driver quietly disposes of the digital picture and says nothing. [2.] As soon as she gets home, she does her "proper Christian" duty and anonymously calls the local Child Protection Services Agency to report this "child abuse". The C. P. S. A. worker arrives later that night with "sufficient" armed law enforcement personnel to ensure compliance with her 'assignment'. "Zeke" and "Marlena" are arrested on multiple felony "child abuse" charges. "Andrea", "Joe",
and "Roseanna" are promptly are taken into C. P. S. A. custody, separated, and placed into different foster care homes.
"NO WAY!!! Surely, this can't be true", you say and believe. However, welcome to the real world of Child Protection Services Agency. Capturing one of them psychos [social nudists] is a real feather in the caps of these "child protection" people. Nailing a
"Christian Social Nudist" would be even more impressive. What happened to the children described above is a fairly accurate description based upon real encounters with these ‘Guardians of Justice’. The flimsiest of excuses, much less substantial than
this possible scenario -- backed up by a "naked picture", -- are accepted at face value. This is one time that you as a parent are presumed guilty until proven innocent and are unable to confront the accusers.
Lives are destroyed; distraught parents have been known to commit suicide. Being proven "innocent/not guilty" doesn't insure that the family will ever be reunited. The "abused child/children" is/are buried in the foster care system and placed for adoption as soon as possible. Remember that your name[s] is/are placed on the Child Abuser Registry [or what passes for the name]. It's almost next to, if not completely, impossible to get your name off of it and ALL previously entered 'data' deleted.
Let's drop the children, leaving just "Zeke" and "Marlena". Most likely, they're taken to the local law enforcement office, booked, and locked up until a bail hearing can be held. How much hope would an accused sexual exhibitionist have of being allowed bail?? Their names make it into the local paper under the "Jailed Today/This Week" column. Imagine, opening your paper to see that your Sunday School Teacher's name with the charge[s] of lewd and indecent exposure is prominently displayed. Will the "proper Christian" staff, lay leaders, and general membership reach out to support these wounded sheep or....??
Given these hypothetical situations, how should/would we as Christian Nudists react?? I don’t have a clue as to what a “correct Christian response” ought to be. Should we become proactive, preparing some sort of questions and answers – a FAQ, so to speak for these people?? Should we offer mutual Prayer Warrior intervention and support to our Christian Brothers and Sisters?? Would we have the slightest idea of the impact upon ourselves and our loved ones?? "Hey, we got these ‘creeps’. Here come more ‘creeps’ just like them out from under their rocks. Surely, our local counterparts need to be advised about them weirdos in their jurisdiction".
Old KuzeN has thought up something way over his head and seeks GODly counsel. Please think long and hard before replying. I found myself supplying a few quick and simple solutions, just one impediment:: a lot more questions to each “quickie” answer. Just as these situations are complex, I would feel equally well-thought out answers are required. HELP!!!!!
Your scenario is not at all implausible. Child protective service agencies here are very aggressive. One couple lost a child for over a year because a neighbor heard the mother spank the child. The parents had to go to parenting classes and have "anger management" classes. I don't know the answer either, but I'd suggest that until we do have an answer that we all be "wise as sperpents and harmless as doves" and "avoid the appearance of evil", maybe foregoing the family outings au naturele.
Pastor Jeff in Orange County, California has a piece on good and bad nudity. Unfortunately, Child Protective Service Agencies see all nudity as bad nudity.

Yes, feeling better post-operatively. In order to be "ME", I just had to go and get a couple of infections. One is an upper respiratory infection which struck only five days after surgery. Of course, "I" was coughing my "fool head off", not really a smart option per the orthpedist and his nurse. He prescribed "appropriate" cough syrup to calm it down. I had an exan by my Family Practice Doctor, was prescribed antibotics, and have a followup app't with him this afternoon to see how well I'm doing from that standpoint.
I'm not quite sure how I got your name on my earlier post, so I'll have to watch myself closer to figure out how I did it.
Maybe when I filled in "Your Name" I was thinking who I was addressing the message to. Anyway, I hope you recover from the infection and get to feeling better soon.

bad tooth abcess infection using only oil of wild
oregano. It has to be the true wild oregano and not
the kitchen veriety. Three drops under the tongue
really will kill a common cold or the flu also. It is

and that those little nasties don't mutate into antibiotic resistant nasties.
Both my wife and I have had important reactions from several herbal and/or health food supplements that were advertised as having no adverse effect. I had a life-threatening reaction from one. My wife was starting to call 911 when I finally started to recover.
Whether the above happened solely because of the supplement or whether they combined unhappily with prescription drugs I don't know. What I do know is that health food supplements must be regarded with some caution, particularly if you are taking any other medication.
When I have a cough I just eat some plantain from our garden. Costs nothing, no risks because it didn´t undergo any processing and it works. I had the same bad experience with antibiotics as you with herbs. I often eat some herbs when I walk around the countryside. But I know them all, because we had to learn all about weeds at university. Everybody should obtain some knowledge on herbs I think. I just don´t want that expensive stuff from the pharmacy.
There is no single plant that can cure one single illness! Plants are created to be the food of mankind. Only when they are eaten continuosly and in all their variety they work. A single plant, that underwent factory processing can do nothing or harm.
Kuzen, did you know Hitler was a vegetarian? He couldn´t see animals dying. I was just reading it in the recent book his now deceased last secretary wrote. That´s an interesting book. Hitler there is not described as the total evil. He appears to be very normal, even nice. You couldn´t tell by the perceptions his secretary made in four years of daily association with him, that he was an evil person. She belived in him until the last day, and it took her a long time to learn what really had happened.
KuzeN has to be feeling better to concoct this scenario! We're all glad to think that he's improving.
I agree that driving the public roads nude with nude children in the car would be risky almost beyond belief. I don't think there's any way in the world that it would be accepted if discovered. I also don't think there's any credible "Christian Nudist" response that could be made.
What if it's just two adults at night? I don't think there's much risk to that, other than a small chance of embarrassment. A lot of latitude is given to consenting adults, and in a car at night is pretty private. Daytime gets more iffy; if you can be seen by others, your risk goes up a lot.
The real unfortunality of it is that IT COULD happen if a family like the one described were open about their nudity. This society has gone nuts when it comes to kids. If it did happen, we in the Christian nudist community should stand up for them. Hopefully, their church will first (but not necessarily so: "Oh, we didn't know they were like THAT.")
Even in Singapore, there's some of this. I put up my sails, installed rudder, etc. on my Laser in the boat yard of the sailing club for a year wearing a g-string. No one bothered me. Then one weekend they had a regatta with more parents and kids by who hadn't shown up all the rest of the year. Someone asked me to put on some pants. They said because of the kids.
How are our kids going to grow up with a healthy attitude about their bodies when our laws are goofy?
Our laws are basically like the attitude exhibited by Micel when she objected to David's exposing himself or by Noah's son when he told others about naked Dad. Both complainers got cursed for their attitudes.
Some have been called into court, very happy children taken away, happy strong families broken up over innocent situations.
One family happened to take a picture of their child playing in the middle of the living room floor naked and had their children taken away, accused of sexual activities, PC taken away because they were accused of online pornography etc. The people who looked at the one or two pictures saw all of this even though they had no evidence! The family broken up, the father publicly austricized over someone elses wild immagination.
This father happened to be from another country and did not know of the crazy attitudes of simple family nudity. His country had no problem with it. They would have seen a happy child playing in the middle of the room, the Americans see a perverted dad creating online pornography, even though the dad did not have the scanners or equipment or the know how to do this.
Guilty until proven innocent is the cry today.
The reason this board, along with my website is created, is to help become educated and learn how to educate others before we get ourselves into this potential mess.
The "fictional" family mentioned educated their children to not tell anyone outside their family, yet ignored it when it came to riding in broad daylight for the whole world to see! Bad judgement.
Even I don't put myself into that situation. If I feel uncomfortable about a situation, too many trucks, too many "soccer-moms" out on the road, it's best to keep it on.
I certainly would not put my children in that situation.

Actually, on her part, it's a matter of not getting people upset or truckers running off the road when they see a nude woman. Seems they act like a bunch of school kids when it comes to nudity, especially with females.
That could get very dangerous. As for me, they might show me what their middle finger looks like along with a few choice words, like as if that is a better social comment than physical nudity is.
To all of you who have taken time to respond, all I can say is "Thank you". It seems that we are pretty nuch in agreement concerning needless, unnecessary, and idiotic exposure our nudist children to the non-nudist world. Your answers are very similar to my own.
We can at least pray for them and ourselves.
We seem to differ concerning the results of "got ya" on a Christian nudist couple. I tend to disagree about the severity of the "fallout". It might range from only mild embarassment to catastrophy, probably more toward the worst case scenario.
Even if the cop only gives out some "friendly don't do this no more" advice, how many people can resist the temptation to tell a buddy, "Can you guess who I caught buck-nekked on their way home tonight"?? Then, the old parlor game of "Gossip" takes over. This can be even more devestating than "the unvarnished truth".
There is another factor to add in. In the above case, the cop will have to keep his/her mouth totally shut and not play "gossip". Why?? His/Her superiors. "You did what [let them go on home]"??? Just to be on the "safe side", the cop[s] will 'run 'em in', hopefully, having given the couple the opportunity to "coverup". Also, there is a disturbing "us" [the Good Guys, the Cops] versus "them" [everybody else] mentality these days on both sides of the "fence".
Once at "headquarters", the couple have to complete everything -- fingerprints, etc., so forth and so on. Once those records are created, they are "public documents." Then, it comes out in the paper and is very unlikely that it will go unnoticed.
This is when we "Agape Christians" tend to turn on our wounded.

KuzeN set up some potentially stressful situations, not unrealistic in light of what some people do - or at least claim to do.
For me naturism is about relaxing and living with less stress. If I were to be out in some situation where there was a risk of being caught and punished, or embarrassed or whatever, that would add to my stress. Don't need that.
I agree with George. My practice of naturism is simply comfort, relaxation, and freedom to think, pray, and meditate on God's word. Living life "on the edge" by daring the society to catch me just is not consistent with relaxation.
Twice now we've been able to spend a week at a resort where we only wear clothes if we want to. Our pattern is to be nude all day, and then dress for a nice dinner and the evening entertainment. Then we head back to the nude beach, pool, or hot tub. Both of us experience a degree of deep relaxation that we never seem to find anyplace else.
If we spent the same week pushing the envelope, taking risks to be nude, it would only add to our stress.
Having a background in law enforcement, I am painfully aware of the abuse of authority by some. We live in a "nation of laws" because most people won't submit to the laws of God. The good done by C.P.S. and other departments of justice is a balance between protecting the innocent, and possibly running some other innocent in the process. Mans war against evil isn't as refined as Gods and as a result sometimes the good "die" along with the bad. Government can only hope the balance is on the side of success.
