"and we've got to get ourselves back to the gaaaaarden" - Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young

I was sincerly looking for answers on this subject of nudity one day, I prayed about it and the Lord showed me that in all history there have really only been two "True Nudists" who were of course Adam and Eve. They did not need clothes as THEY WERE CLOTHED WITH THE G L O R Y OF G O D . When they rebelled against God, this glory was taken away and they knew that they were "Naked". The difference being that Nude is a natural state of being without clothes and naked is also without clothes but something is wrong, it isn't natural, we know it instinctively. Thus there are no "nudists" any more only "nakedists".
Clothes are a symbol of our need of a covering as we are naked before God in our rebellion against him and thus if we say that we don't need clothes, we are saying in our heart that we don't need God's grace either. If we think we can go back to the garden, it is another logical step to think that man had never fallen from grace and that we don't need Christ the same as we don't need clothes. To go nude today is in a sense denying that there was a fall of man and thus that we need a redeemer. The nudist is trying to tell himself that he is comfortable without clothes, the same way that a sinner tries to tell himself that he feels no conviction of sin and needs no saviour. That is why so many nudists are not believers, it goes hand in hand with a lifestyle of rebellion. In the case of the "Christian Nudist" I would upgrade that from rebellion to a misconception or falling under a deception.
I appreciate nudist's thoughts on the subject and their search for the truth, I applaud anyone who is at least trying to find the truth, but without the Holy Spirit's guidance such searches end up as just our own ideas and thoughts, "manmade wisdom". We need to go directly to the Lord for our wisdom or it will get skewed. Thus with all due respect I think that sincere NUDISTS ARE ESSENTIALLY IN EFFECT TRYING TO GET BACK TO THE GARDEN OF EDEN (whether they know it or not), BUT THAT IS LIKE TRYING TO SHUT THE BARNDOOR AFTER THE HORSE HAS ESCAPED. You can try with all your heart with good intentions, but you can't change the fact that we have been FOREVER locked out of the Garden of Eden. That period of life is gone and will never return.
You never hear of nude angels appearing to men and all the visions people have had of heaven never have nude people. When Jesus appears to people he is always clothed and there are some who have even seen the throne of the father (though they could only see his feet and legs as the power of God was so intense they were usually flat on their faces) and he was clothed.
Another point is that every culture in the world knows instinctively the distinction between nude and naked, even the poorest people on earth in the tropics will wear usually a loin cloth of some kind or at least will feel better with a string of beads or something. Very few go naturally totally nude and this is usually because they are in a tropical location, poor and apart from civilization.
It seems that people trying to be nudists are living (and quite literally) the story of the "Emporer's New Clothes", in that story it took a child to see that the Emporer had no clothes. In this case, I would say, it takes a simple person. It is usually the better off, more educated people that think up this Nudist thing. In third world countries, they probably think such things are foolish. They haven't read all the articles or had these kinds of discussionsm, they just know instinctively that something is wrong. The exceptions would be the few people living in stone age conditions in the world or near to it as I discussed above, for them it is just impractical when survival comes first.
I haven't even touched on the more obvious things like lust as that is usually beaten to death by those who find security in legalism. But there is a place to at least mention that someone going nude in public could essentially be committing adultery with scores of people (in their heart) as Jesus said that you committ adultery in your heart when you lust after someone. So, as to not cause your brother to sin, you shouldn't "eat meat sacrificed to idols" whether you can do it or not. It is only showing respect for others to not tempt them to sin unecessisarily.
When I read the Bible, how Jesus is going to go to such an extent to have a big party called "The Marriage Feast of the Lamb" I get the feeling that God really puts special "MEANING" and purpose in marriage both the one in heaven and ours on earth. Marriages were always a special celebration, they are a shadow of the heavenly marriage to come between Christ and the church. Somehow it seems to cheapen it all by letting it "all hang out" for everyone instead of for that special someone with whom you have made a life long committment.
In conclusion, if I see someone without clothes I see a naked person and I don't think that exposure to others over a period of time will change that because we are living in a different age. The age of Adam and Eve is gone. It is not a matter of changing one's attitude towards the body (nice try), that is on more of a psychological level. The nudity thing is deeper, on a Spiritual level, instead of looking back at the garden we need to press forward towards being clothed once again with the glory of God and this has been prophesied Biblically as the coming "Latter Rain" which will fall in the end times. Let us look forward to real Spiritual growth and not get caught in dead end issues that take us nowhere but back to the ancient past.

But, GOD said of His naked and unashamed creation, "very good'. Do you desire to keep contradicting HIM? You believe God's testimony about His Son, don't you? Then believe His testimony about His creation.
Check out the other articles of this site. Happy reading.
the Aborigenes in Australia used to live totaly naked, as white men showed up. The so called civilized white people saw the poor savage and forced them to dress up. What happened? Many of them died through diseases and psycologial depressions due to the lost of their freedom to sense their natural surounding via their skin.
Going naked increases the ability to sense life..... That brings up another idea....... I might write about that later one in a new topic.

I suggest you read the bible. You have contradicted yourself, and you have even lied.
First, you stated "Clothes are a symbol of our need of a covering as we are naked before God in our rebellion against him and thus if we say that we don't need clothes, we are saying in our heart that we don't need God's grace either." Read that sentence, it contradicts itself. If clothes is a symbol of our need of a covering as we are naked before God in our bellion against him, then to wear clothes would be to accept that fact that you desire to rebel against God.
As for lying, you stated that nobody has ever heard of a naked angel and so forth. Yeah, read the bible. There have been tellings of naked angels (even if not stated directly in the bible). And remember, Jesus worked naked like everone else, and even after being resurrected, he was resurected naked (they found his clothes, which meant he wasn't wearing them; and they found him and mistook him as a gardener, garderners work naked). Even after living a life were he worked publicly nude, and being resurrected and continueing to make appearances nude, you still contradict him? You still rebel against God and deny him his creation?
If you seriously believe what you have said, then you should at first understand that nothing you have said is clausible. And the parts that begin to appear clausible, contradict themselves.
I suggest you at least come up with a better arguement, one that actually corresponds with the bible perhaps?
