The right age for your granddaughter to start crawling is when she's ready. She'll figure it out one of these days.
My son was a late developer in everything that babies have to learn to do. It's been a long time, but I think he was nine months or so before he started crawling—but when he did he was just suddenly all over the house. And yes, he did end up fully normal. Babies just have their own pace.
Bulldog - I must agree with Luvnaturism. She will let you know. I would say many kids start crawling around 6 or 7 months, but some even later. If you really get concerned check with the child's pediatrician. I know I asked our doctor so many questions, especially as the twins (a boy and girl) developed quite differently to a mother's eye. Then again these were our first children and it was quite natural to want to compare. It has taken me 5 years to relax and let them grow and develop as the people God wants them to be. My husband and I are here to serve as role models and to love and protect. I'm learning not to "protect" as much and trying to yield the "perfect mother-of-twins" cycle.
Depends on the baby and the encouragement of the parents. My baby, just 10 months now has got the crawling stage down real good. But took 7 to 8 months before she quit crawling backwards and then sideways!
(But to stay on topic:)
By the way, we found out she does like being nude! Problem is, she isn't "house broken" yet. She still needs the diaper.
