I know there is a family naturist resort just south of Dallas. I have not been there, but have seen a billboard for it when I was driving to Dallas (was living near Longview at the time) and have heard of others visiting it.
I understand that it is Family Friendly. What you need to do is look up "Family Naturist Resorts" and check their sites out and make sure they are a part of the The Naturist Society (TNS) or American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). They tend to want to sponsor family resorts.
Stay away from the resorts that like to post too many pictures (especially when they focus mostly on young women), sites that lead to "alternate" sites that claims naturism, and resorts that are not a part of the AANR or TNS. Join either or both national clubs and carry the cards with you to present to the resort. You should get a 10% discount.
My wife was not sure at first, but once we visited one, she was quite happy and comfortable.
