Journey of babysteps

I am new to this site although I discovered this site before I was married. I got married last June. My husband and I found Christ (or He found us) when we were teens. Neither of us come from a good home and so we don't have a template to follow. We are in our early twenties. I lived alone for six months before we got married and enjoyed being in my apartment nude: sleeping, cooking, eating, exercising, cleaning, working on the computer, watching tv... My fiance' knew about this, but I always was dressed when we were together. Then we got married and went through the ritual of dressing for "bed" and then undressing. After about a month we fell into the routine of my wearing a nightgown and his wearing his underwear to bed and undressing only "as needed". Recently after reading the many great postings on this site, especially the families that are enjoying their natural state together within the family context I have been longing for that kind of life-style. Because of this forum I started slowly by going to bed nude this surprised my husband as he thought I only had one thing on my mind. I told him I liked the feeling and would like it if he slept nude next to me (some very obvious advantages). After a few days he started sleeping nude and it has been excellent (plus the afore referenced advantages). Since I work part-time I am able to get up and not get dressed in the morning to make and eat breakfast with my husband - again he was surprised but in a few days he joined me. On the days that I am home before him I am nude in the kitchen - again he was surprised. I suggested he take off his clothes, as he always changed when he came home, and not bother putting anything on. This has become our new routine and we remain nude until the next day (unless of course we have to go somewhere). It has been so liberating and I know my husband has come to enjoy this as well. I hope to shortly tell him about this site and to talk about raising our children (to be) in an at home naturism lifestyle. No need for anyone to respond, but I want y'all (we live outside Atlanta) to know that your just being here and following some of the postings has been a wonderful hope. A blessed Christmas to all and as is your custom {{all}} - A Nudelywed

'Tis the season...

December 17 2003, 11:21 AM

You've just given all of us an early Christmas gift. Thank you for sharing that encouraging story.

Studies have shown that people who sleep together nude make love more often—a nice benefit. However, there's much more to it than that. My wife and I have slept nude from the beginning of our marriage. Now we're at an age where lovemaking is less frequent than at the beginning, but we cuddle together and hold each other skin to skin every night of our lives. It's wonderfully healing for the little cuts and bruises that life deals out on a daily basis.

You're to be commended for wise leadership to help your husband come along to a household routine of extended nude living. It seems that lots of people would like the life you're living, but are too shy or inhibited to lead their mate into it.

RE:: 'Journey of Babysteps'

December 17 2003, 2:41 PM

Dear Miz Nudelywed,

You are far past 'babysteps' in your Christian Nudist life. You are into waking carefully so that you don't overrun your base.

While you and your Beloved have discovered and taken advantage of some of those 'benefits', you are exercising proper growth. As Lovesnaturism, a preacher, you do know, pointed out, you're leading hubby. This doesn't happen too often. Mother of Twins' S-I-L may lead her husband. So, you aren't alone there.

We trust your expertise and knowledge of your spouse when it's time to explain why he needs to visit here. I suspect that there are enough Bible 'toters' around to answer his questions and give, or at least, point him to appropriate answers from the 'guy' and Christian husband perpespective. Assure him that there ain't none of us gonna' look down our cyber noses at 'im 'cause we done jumped off'n that thar' cliff and been rescued by someone else here.

While you stated that neither of you had 'appropriate' templates for a family and parenting, you are using the oldest guide book around. Again, folks here can help with questions. There are good pages here and links.

The fact that you are a home nudist, is to be applauded. You two are developing proper and wholesome attitudes about each of your own bodies and your spouse's body. That will reap untold benefits not only to your chid[ren], but to their spouse[s] AND the GRANDKIDS!!!!!

I don't know if you have ever heard of this or not. Pray each day for you child[ren]-in-law. When you pretty sure that 'he and/or she' is/are the choice, begin to pray for them by name. When the deed is done and the couple is tied firmly to the old hitching post, start praying for the Grandkids.

From your standpoint, the Ladies who post on this board can offer lots of wifely and 'momly' advice. Look at these special teens' posts. I suspect that you will be amazed at Jen's, Shelly's, Meg's, and Scotts'thoughts on how raise nude children since they are close to your age.

Years ago, a couple who taught a Church class explained this. You have already tied old Slewfoot's hands and will keep him busy. They explained that they had learned this from an older couple years before. Some of their friends didn't believe that it worked and paid the price. It isn't a complete complete coverage; but Satan MUST honor your protection in that area.

An Old Man's ranting's about security. Child, now that are [A] a Christian and [B] a nudist, Satan is after you with a vengeance. Since you live in an apt., you actually are at a slightly higher risk than home nudists.
[1] Be absolutely sure certain that your blinds/cutains are completely shut at all times when you are nude!! A voyuer may seize on that 'opportunity' and record you - see advice to 'Little Bear'. Some of those below apply whether you are or aren't a nudist.
[2] Be certain that you don't have any 'male acquaintances' [married or no] who exhibit an undue interest in you. If you do, alert hubby.
[3] Get an addtional security device to use when you are alone. It is stick-like and fits under the door handle and onto the floor; it make the door almost impossible to open. Anyone trying to open the door just makes it more secure.
[4] If anyone whom [this includes female intruders] you don't know and trust implistly tries to break [A] call the Cops!!!! If you have a cell or cordless ph, set it on mute and hide it!! 9-1-1 won't waste time!! The Cavlary is coming; bad guys don't like that one bit!! [B] Then, call House Security!! In either case, false alarms are tolerated. They don't EVER want to have to come in 'after the fact'.
[5]Does your apt complex allow for dogs? If so, get a small YAPPY!!! Bad guys detest YAPPIES!! They are the best 'doorbells and deterrent around 'cause you know something ain't 'rat'!
[6] VARY!! VARY!! VARY!! VARY your schedules!!!!!!
[A] When you leave the apt., check through your peephole in the door. If there isn't one, demand that the apt management install one!! Be willing to pay for it.
[B] if possible, vary where you park your car. If you have to park in a bad spot, have hubby walk you back to the apt. Bad guys probably ain't gonna' tangle with a couple. If you park in a bad place, let hubby either move your car to a safe place or swap cars for the day.
[C]DON'T develop a pattern of leaving at '10:32 A. M.' and coming back in at 3:53 'P. M.' Establishing a pattern is a gift to bad guys. Throw in the idea that you are NEKKID and see the previous posts on this.

Yours,
'I talk too much 'cause I Love {{{{{y'all}}}}},

KuzeN

P. S. Curl up with your 'bestiest buddy' and read an erotic book. It's called the "Song of Solomon". It has great ideas in it. Also, your are well onto building a proper template for your kiddos. As long as you as stick to the Original Road Map [the Bible], you will not get lost.

Congratulations!!
Sounds like you're off to a fantastic start. The best thing is you're doing it as Christians. This site is great for good Christian nudist advise.
My wife and I have always slept nude. Don't think I could sleep any other way now.
I also don't bother to redress after getting out of my stinky smelly work clothes. Lots less laundry!
Keep us posted, and we'd love to hear from hubby!
God Bless
Kevin P

Journey

December 18 2003, 12:05 PM

Wow! I really wasn't expecting any response. You have given me so much encouragement and counsel. I will read and digest. Just last night in bed as we were both laying on our right arms and cuddling my husbsand said "why didn't we do this sooner?" and I replied "I'm just glad that we did it and hope we never stop". Will be careful around the apartment with the blinds, etc. It is great fun (and feels good too!) to cook and greet my husband with just an apron on - each day now he comes home and takes off his "work clothes" and we just hang out nude. Thank again to everyone and a big {{to all}}. Nudelywed

Temptation

December 18 2003, 1:04 PM

The temptation that couples run into—after the first few months or so—is that they start being so involved in work or other activities that they gradually drift into different schedules. That severely limits the time they can be together, and, perhaps worse, they end up without any real energy for each other when they are together.

My first wife and I had a good marriage for many years, but it could have been better. After she died I realized that it was a mistake for us not to have disciplined ourselves to go to bed at the same time regularly. She was early to bed, and I was a night owl. Very often she was already asleep when I came to bed.

In this marriage we have a basic expectation of going to bed at the same time. It's not hard and fast, but we stick to it about 95% of the time. That way we almost never have a day that we don't have personal closeness.

You've started really well, but both of you will have to work at it to keep it up for the next fifty or sixty years.

Thanks

Luvnaturism - I certainly do appreciate your being so candid and sharing that part of your life with me. I have already seen how quickly things can change and am glad that we have changed "course". We are both early risers so that works for now, but in all areas we will need to be vigilant. Since I am already nude its time to get cleaned-up and into bed. I really do feel like a newly-wed. Excited and comfortable and free and hope that when it comes time to raise our family they can be free at home. Which reminds me as we look to buy a house it really is "location, location, location" - (privacy). Goodnight, sleep nude and dont foget {{all}} - Nudelywed &

Testimony and passing it on

December 20 2003, 6:04 AM

What do you mean "No need for anyone to respond"? Of course we will! We can't help it!

This is a great post and we are very happy to be a part of your life changing experience, especially when you slowly introduced your new husband to the joys of living nude. We are looking forward to meeting him, and we are glad you decided to post here.

Thank you for your testimony and for passing it on!

Boyd Allen
