To all my friends here I wish you a very happy new year. Had a wonderful Christmas eve with my mother and my father as is our tradition we went out to a really nice dinner at a Chineese restaurant and than off to the candlelight service at are church you can guess where I sat - yep, right between my parents and than we went home opened are stocking stuffer gifts. My parents always put in a few home made cupons one this year was that if I wanted I could be naked on Christmas morning and you now me!!! We had a really great Christmas day too and I helped my mother alot with the dinner and it turned out really great. On Saturday the new girl and her mother came over for lunch with me and my mother and then her mother left and the new girl and me enjoyed some naked time around the pool swimming, sunning and just hanging out I also got a chance to tell her a little bit about what are church is about so it was really good. And then I got sick for a few days but I am feeling better now. Scott it sounds like you and Shelly had a really good time with your cousin I hope you and Shelly dont have school on ML King day cause I have an idear that I will tell you about later. We are having some friends over tonight so I will have to get dressed but that is okay as I now I can get undressed and go to bed when they leave. Hey Jen, it was great to see your posting and to know that you and your family had a great Christmas and that you enjoyed your time around the pool with your new girlfriend from school. Sorry to hear that you were sick, but glad you are feeling better. Spent a few days with my grandmother, was hard to keep my clothes on, at least I could be nude at night. Glad to be home. Shelly and I enjoyed our time with our cousin. Yes we both have off on ML King day...???

I wanted to share this in my last posting a few days ago but I needed to get the ok from my parents. I spent two nights with my grandmother. My grandfather died about 3 years ago. She gets up several times during the night and came into the guest room where I was sleeping nude, I was uncovered and she covered me. She told me this in the morning. I was a little uneasy and then she said that my dad used to sleep nude when he was my age (13). She never told him that she knew that he slept nude. I told her that I have been doing this for years, that it is a lot more comfortable and that lots of kids and teens sleep nude. I also told her about me and Shelly being nude around and pool and she said that sounded like fun as long as it was ok was mom and dad. I wasn't sure if I should tell her more or not. She is coming to "baby sit" for me and Shelly later this month while mom and dad are off at a conference for two nights. She said she hoped we would continue our normal rountine while she was there. How great is that for a grandma! She said she thought that she and grandpa were too strict when my dad and my uncle were young and that this way is better. Scott
My children will have at least one grandmother being OK with nudity, since she is living with us now!
My parents don't know yet, but I have a feeling I will tell my dad farely soon, since we are making general plans (not yet confirmed) to move back to Florida, our home state.
If my children (and a certain person) plans to live nude as much as possible, then we need to prepare them when they come over for visits (unexpected at times?) now that we would be much closer.
Much easier knowing that family approves. Isn't that sad that chidlren today have to hide from their own families? Talk about "disfunctional"! I am glad to see that you have this resolved in your heart and family.

By the way, Emmanuel means "God with you" and in the book of Isaiah, the prophecy of Jesus, it is said that "they will call him Emmanuel" meaning that the people, not Joseph or Mary, who named him Jesus, will call him that. The reason he will be called Emmanuel by the people (was reserved for prophets and priests and select people of the day before the birth) is because Jesus said that "I will be with you until the end of the age." and "I will never forsake or leave you." In other words, "God is with you" or "Emmanuel".

Scott, several of us here have commented on what an awesome family you have. Now you're discovering that spreads across a third generation.
To me the most important part of your post is that your grandmother admitted to you that she made mistakes in raising her children, and she would do some things over if she could. Kids don't come with instruction books. Parents do the best they can, but it's a hard job and we all make mistakes. That's why parents need to have teens who will cut them some slack.
How would your folks feel about the idea of you and your sister inviting your grandmother to join you in skinnydipping—or at least "skinnysunning"—around your pool? She may not want to do it, but I'll bet she'd feel complimented.
Also, you might consider showing your grandmother what you wrote about her, and what others responded concerning her.
Is there any chance that your family will have an opening for an extra grandfather and grandmother? If so, my wife and I will apply for the job.
Think my Dad caught on to the fact that I slept nude. He'd come in the mornings sometime and yank the covers off me to expose me. Think he did it to shame me. It worked for a few years, but I finally bloomed out of it. Terrible that parents and friends do this to young people, but not to you!
This is Becky's other half aka dad to Scott and Shelly. Yes, I too am glad that we can be more open and accepting in our family then I experienced. The four of us have had a great time being nude around the pool and even had a cousin visit. My mother called on Saturday to tell me how much she enjoyed Scotty's (aka Scott) visit with her and to let me know that she thought Becky and I were doing a terrific job raising two teens. She also walked down memory lane and touched on a few areas where she thought she and dad (now deceased) were too rigid and did not communicate. She is looking forward to "baby sitting" our kids later this month and hopes that they will feel free to maintain their normal rountine, including being nude around the pool. Thanks for the news of your family. I'm one of a number of people here who think that you and Becky are doing a terrific job of parenting. Your kids are at an age where many families experience stress, strain, and huge difficulties communicating. Instead your family is growing closer together, and communicating in ways that perhaps you never did before.
This says worlds about what kind of parents you have been from the beginning, as well as during the more recent changes in household rules.
You already know this, but I'm going to point something out for the benefit of other families who may read here: The sharing within your family that resulted when you and Becky were able to respond positively to your teenager's wishes to swim nude at home has already benefitted your brother's family; and now it has circled back to prompt your mom to repair some bridges between the two of you.
Who knows what good things will happen next? Stay in touch.
Glad that you and your Mother 'reconciled' in so many ways. Sounds like::

Not only are there generations, there are three generations Nude, or Nude friendly, Christians.
WOW!! To think how gracious the LORD is and has been, especially in the past two months-plus. There are three young families who are so secure in their beliefs and free enough to pass this on to their children and others. They have discovered other Loved ones and friends are either nudists already or quite open to Christian nudism.
Special friendships have begun here as these teens 'jumped in' and shared. One of those special teens hosted a classmate and witnessed simply by telling her friend about how wonderful her church is. The LORD will bless this. Both of your teens demonstrate themselves to be powerful Chrisitians
Several other teens and other young adults have joined in and shared, reinforcing each other. This younger bunch have led more than just each other.
All of this is due to sound Biblical training and the acceptance of GOD's gifts, i. e., the human body.

Great news about your Christmas present to let you be nude! Sounds like your parents are warming up to letting you be nude at home whenever. It's great that you now have a friend to sun with. My wife and I were wondering the other day how teens who are at-home nudists or live at nudist resorts tell their non-nudist friends or bring them to visit? Have you thought about it, or have you parents given any rules or advice? Just wondering.
Sorry you had to spend your New Year celebration dressed. I went to my first nude New Years party at the resort where we're members. Started out kind of lame but got better later. Nude water volleyball in a heated indoor pool is great! Hint, hint.

Mr. Kevin, glad to be back but I still feel a little "ick" the only way that I new this girl at school was that I couldnt really see any tan line on her you now as you look at people you can see a tan line but she didnt seem to have any and I was right. My mother made sure that she met with my new friends mother and that she new what was going on and all and it was okay. My mother keeps a pretty good eye on me and didnt leave me alone in the house when my friend came over she stayed inside and we were out but we new she was their. It is really a good feeling to now that and also to now that it has been more than two months since I left the gate open. I got the idear of having a friend over from Shelly and her mom and I hope maybe sometime I can have Shelly and Scott over and will definatley have my new friend back when her mom and my mom say it is ok. By the way I have a picture of me that my father said is okay to share and Dr. Sherri can send it to any of my friends here who would like to see me it is a picture at the beach. Did you see my answer to Nude Guy I even tried using the word nude rather than naked like my parents suggested but I dont think that is me when you are 14 and dont have any clothes on your naked maybe it just sounds more exciting to my mind. I am feeling better than you for asking I hope you have a good new year. It looks like we will be going to the Island in June after school gets out for my parents 20 anniversay and my 15 th birthday - all we have to ware is are birthday suits - we will have are own pool and can also go to the beach naked and snorkel naked this will be really great sound like a good place for a honeymoon I will have to take notes luv, Jen
I saw your answer, and was very impressed by both you and Scott. You gave some very good, mature advice.
I heard somebody say one time that the differance between being naked and being nude was that a naked person was out of place, like in a room full of clothed people, while a nude person is someone who does not stand out, like with other naked, oops...nude people, or a model or something. I don't really know if I agree with all that or not. I sometimes use either term. Sometimes 'naked' just sounds more fun.
Your island vacation sounds fun. Hope you have a great time. You sound really excited about being able to be naked for so long. Can I ask what island it is? I want to go on a nude vacation sometime and need ideas where to go. It will be a year or two, but it will take me that long to prepare. Money and stuff.

Dear Mr. Kevin, Thank you for asking for my picture I know Dr. Sherri must be busy and hope you will get it soon it is me at a beach just naked for the picture since you can see no one was around the only other picture of me was a school picture and I think I just looked dorky the beach beach looks like how I think I look. Scotts sister Shelly also gave her picture to Dr. Sherri we both have are parents okay and she can send them to anyone on this site who has been here for several months.Scott really liked my picuture I hope you will like it to. Nearing fourscore also asked for the pictures of me and Shelly and he really liked them. Yes I like naked beter then nude it is more exciting. I now the island is n the Carribbean and then Bahamas I hope that helps it is cheaper in June than it is now and June is between my parents anniversary this month and my birthday in October. Am back at school as I guess you know and promised my parents I would study and do my best I got to sit between my mother and my father at church yesterday and we had some pool time with sun and clouds and about 80. Was able to spend a lot more naked time at home during this break or only wearing my bakini underware like in the family room and in the house during the day I helped my mother clean the house while my father was at work and cleaning naked makes it a whole lot more fun. The weather HAS been great hasn't it? We actually went to the beach Sunday. And it looks like we might get that vacation early. Myra (my wife) suggested we take our anniversary at a nude beach. We're looking.
Too bad this nice weather isn't going to last. Here it's 77 deg.s today, 44 tomorrow, 33 Wed. and 30 Thurs. Ugh. And I think the cold is actually gonna reach you this time.

Dear Mr. Kevin, Was just getting ready for bed, we all thought we might take a dip supposed to be lows 80's on Tuesday and then get a lot cooler glad I have an electric blanket I can still sleep naked and cozey with Noodles - oh, what I was saying was I was getting ready to shut off my computer and checked this site and got your message and am glad that you got my picture I will thank Dr.Sherri do you think it looks like me? you now what you thought I would look like or no? I now Nearing Fourscore really liked it and Scott really really liked it glad you now what I look like casue your kind of my big family since I only have a little family. First day of school wasn't too bad and I will study especially hard promised my mother and my father that I would be doing my best that is all they ever ask of me. It looks like Scott and Shelly might be able to come over during ML King weekend one of there parents would have to bring them here and meet both my parents and then both my parents would be home

It makes me proud that you call me family, you've become pretty special to me, 'niece'. Glad school wasn't too bad. I never liked it much, and didn't learn to appreciate it until long after I was out. And your best is all that anyone can ever ask of you.
VERY happy to hear that Scott and Shelly will be visiting with you. It's good that your parents can trust enough that you can meet your new friends, and you're lucky that they're so close.
Hope you enjoyed your last naked swim. The resort I joined has a heated indoor pool now, so we(me and my wife) can go when we get the chance.

I just checked this site before Christmas and have now been catching up on some of the threads. Exciting growth and good news. The warm weather of the south does make me envious. I'm from Man. canada and right now we are cold. Although my wife and I are just getting ready to head to Cal. for 2 weeks of no clothes weather.

Sorry about the sickness part, but my wife and I both had gotten sick as well. She did on Wednesday last week, the day before Christmas, but got over it by Christmas morning.
I got sick Sunday night, had to stay home from work Monday.
My FIL was here starting Wednesday night of Christmas to Wednesday night of new years. He drove on up to New Jersey New Years night. Funny, he didn't get there until the next year! (What took him so long?)
Anyway, we had to stay dressed all week. sigh
But as soon as he had gone, I went back to my room, removed my clothes, and came out announcing, "I'm BAAAACCCK!!"
My MIL chuckled a little.
Now, to wait and see what this company is going to do with us. We won't really fully know until the end of January. We still have our sights on Ocala Fl. but not attached to it. We can go anywhere on the compass, including staying right here.
I'm rambling.
Great to start off the new year with NEW FRIENDS ON BOARD! {Nude Hugs to ALL!}
I bought stuff for a bridge over the gully below the dam down below. Went to Lowes and got the stuff, made a few saw cuts and carried the stuff down in my Gravely cart and installed it. Walked over it nude after lunch. No one else around, as usual.
Should get some nude time in before and during half times tomorrow. Plan to put my train track and tree base on my newly-painted plywood base for the tree for next year. Supposed to be nice. Should be able to do it nude before the games.
Yeah, it was a nude party, at Whitetail Resort where we're members. Started slow but got fun pretty quick.
The heated pool and the hot tub helped that alot.
