Three hands just shot up. Wouldn't do it an other way. Although it may take a few nights getting adjusted - once you are in to it - it is difficult to sleep any other way. We haven't found out the cuddling advantages (yet) but understand they are a great benefit. TMK
Hi TMK - Thank you for your response. Well, now that I'm several days into this, I wouldn't sleep any other way. I am really liking it. I have invited my wife to do the same thing, but she doesn't want to, which is fine, I understand. She slept nude a couple times when she was single, and didn't like it. God made us all different ya know.
David - our kids (age 5) started when they were 4 on vacation - would bathe them, dry them and they were off to sleep so we didn't bother waking them; then they learned to like it. My husband and I have fairly recently joined them. Jared sleeps nude all the time and Corrine mostly in the warm weather - she still likes her flannels. By the way Meg of this site suggest flannel sheets - we are in a colder climate and they are just great! Husband and I cuddle alot. David - first welcome to this site! My husband and I sleep nude all the time. Our 7 year old Scott always sleeps nude and we have two daughters Beth 5 and Maggie almost 4 - one sleeps topless and one bottomless in a large T shirt. We certainly all like to swim nude.
Don't buy an electric blanket. Instead, get an electric mattress pad (it goes under the bottom sheet). The heat rises up from underneath, and of course if you turn it on a few minutes before bedtime you won't have any more of those cold sheets.

Hey Mr. Kevin, sure was nice to hear that I was missed it took me a few days til I could get to read your story I think it is really good even though I didn't understand all the words I think they were like military words. Is this one of those kind of true stories but not all the way true? Maybe like something that happended to you but changed a little? It takes a lot of work to write a story. My wife and I have slept nude for 36 years, so we don't think of any other way. I don't, and have not for years, own p.j.'s. When we travel and stay at someone's home, we still sleep nude, we just keep a coverup handy if we need to go down the hall.
We sleep nude the year round. We live in TN so it gets cold. But we have flanel sheets and that makes us very comfortable.
When our boys were small they saw us nude all the time, so sleeping nude was not a problem. They often came into our room during the night and would crawl into bed with us, or we got up and put them back in their bed. We had nothing to hide so it was fine if they saw us nude.
Be naked and not ashamed-
My wife started sleeping nude when we got married. She said she doesn't remember how she was able to sleep before! She had to find ways to keep cool in the summer, so she put on clothes that were as cool to wear as possible. Now she wonders why she even did that!
First let me also welcome you to this site. I am fairly new here myself. My Internet name is Holly and I am a teenage Christian. My father died when I was very young - I really don't remember him. One of my first memories was when I was about four and one morning I climbed into bed with my mom. I discovered she was nude and asked why she didn't have her pj's on. She told me that some people slept in pj's and some choose not to. I asked if I could try and she said "sure" and off came my pj's. We talked for a few minutes and then I feel asleep. That night as I was getting ready for bed I told my mother I wanted to sleep like she slept and I have slept nude ever since. My mother and I have enjoyed naturism since I was four both at home and we have ventured out to some CO areas. Just a few months ago I discovered that my cousins, Shelly and Scott and their family, have gotten involved in family naturism (at home, backyard and pool). During the Christmas break I stayed a few days with my cousins and we enjoyed being nude together swimming and by the pool. Shelly sleeps nude and wasn't sure how I would sleep not knowing how involved my mom and I were in naturism - little did she know that I didn't even bring any nightwear - just a robe in case I needed it. In March my mother, me, my two cousins (Scott/Shelly) and my Aunt (Becky) will be spending a few days in the Carribbean. This is a place where my mom and I have been before. The house is totally isolated, has a private pool and a private beach (although sometimes people do walk on the beach) where we can swim and sunbathe nude. To answer your question - I can't remember when I haven't slept nude. It seems strange to me that people feel a need to "dress" for bed or for swimming or sunbathing. Long story - short answer "yes". First of all I want to tell you that I loved your "long story". It was most interesting. Thank you for welcoming me to this site. It is good to be here. I am sorry to hear about your father's passing when you were very young. I can relate to you. My father passed away when I was only nine months old, so I don't remember my father either.
That is cool that you're a Christian. I am too. A couple of weeks ago, my wife, who is also a Christian, saw something while searching the internet, that caught my eye. It was a news item about the upcoming, Christian naturism resort, Natura, which is scheduled to open up this spring, near Tampa, Florida. Before this, I had never thought a whole lot about Christian naturism. Ever since then, I've been studying God's inspired word about it, and can't find anything wrong with it. My wife doesn't think there's anything wrong with Christian naturism either. I haven't done anything outside yet, but my plan is to go to some naturism/CO place in the spring to check it out. As for the sleeping part, I'm several days into it now and really enjoying it. I mean, what other way is there?? Hehehe!

I have been sleeping in the nude since I returned from the RAF over forty years ago-I discovered the comfort, when I was stationed in Cyprus and it was far too hot to wear anything. I have some pyjamas tucked away in a drawer, but I never get them out and I will sleep nude wherever I am staying, including in the cabin of ferryboat up in the Arctic Circle last January. My wife has slept in the nude for about the same length of time. I don’t possess a dressing gown/bath robe and I always go downstairs nude and remain so until I need to go out. On the rare occasions that visitors stayed overnight, I found it irksome having to get dressed immediately and then undress again to have a shower. However, when I retired a few years ago, I found that I spent most days going around the house completely naked. Whilst on holiday a few years ago, it struck me that it was ridiculous that I had been seen naked by at least 5,000 people, but I had been secretive with friends and relations. Accordingly I made a resolution to tell them and if they stayed overnight or called during the day that they would probably find me in the nude. Friends who we have known for thirty years stayed overnight and I was rather wary, as although F. was a nurse, she struck me as prim and proper. I took a chance and made a dash for the bathroom, but on leaving I bumped into her on the landing. At first I felt she was offended, but when I broached the subject latter, she said that she would not mind in the slightest if she encountered me in the nude. When they visited the next time, I went downstairs in the nude to make myself a mug of tea and F. soon joined me and we quite happily chatted for at least a quarter of an hour, as we have done on subsequent visits. I discovered that my cousin and his wife had been on naturist beaches and sometimes go around home in the nude. Nowadays virtually all my friends and relations including my 91-year-old mother in law and my sister in law accept that I will nude when they visit us.
Been doing it since I was a youngster - my parents were keen that my sister and I wore as little as possible, and preferably nothing at all, to bed on health grounds, and being typical kids, the opportunity to legitimately spend time without clothes was just too good to pass up. My husband joined the movement in his early teens and we have had a nightclothes-free home since we were married. We now have three teens of our own. Although we have never dictated what they wear in bed, we have always encouraged them to follow our example. Needless to say, all three, two girls and a boy, habitually sleep bare, as do most of their overnight visiting friends.
am 35 yrs old now and I have been sleeping nude now for the last 25 yrs,I started sleeping nude when i was 9 yrs but old when i was at home on my holidays or at weekends. Unfortunely at that time i was at a all boys boarding school at that time waking around in the nude unless you was in the showers or breifly nudity when getting changed for bed was the only time you was alowed to be nude.
I think it great sleeping nude and i would recomend it to everyone, the freedom from wearing pj's or underpans, being nude in bed i find that it more comforable because you don't over heat and sleep more soundly at night and wake refreshed in the morning.
