Great place

I just discovered this site and think it is absolutely wonderful. I have read many of the posts and see not only enthusiasm for the naturist life, but a love of Christ as well. I am amazed at the young people here. I am not what most would call young (54) and think it is wonderful how so many young Christian people are here and their families, for the most part, support their naturism. I only wish that I had raised my family this way. My kids are all in their twenties and think their father is a bit daft. I am only recently being reunited to naturism after a long time away from it.

Daft Americans

March 31 2004, 9:56 AM

Welcome to our forum, and thank you for your kind remarks.

Yes, we had a bunch of families join us recently, and they certainly have added a lot of excitement to the bored....I mean, board!

Glad you decided to revisit the naturist lifestyle.

And remind your kids that had they been raised as naturists as kids, then they would NOT feel that you have gone daft, but would actually think it would be normal. So IF they would consider you as normal had they been raised this way, why not think that way now?

Many Americans don't think this way. They cannot understand how Chinese think and act the way they do, and how Canadians think and act the way they do, yet not consider had they (the American) been raised in those environments, they too would be thinking and acting that way and wondering why Americans think and act the way we do!

So maybe it's time we "put on the shoes of the other folks" or in this case, take off our shoes and clothing to understand how the naturist thinks.

Even the apostle Paul says the he is a Gentile to the Gentiles and a Greek to the Greeks. We think we always have to be right and the other person is daft.

So I hope you find a way to communicate this with your children. They need to remember that the reason they think the way they do is because they were raised that way. They are in control of thier own minds now, and they can change it if they really wanted to!

Again, welcome to the board.

Boyd

Prayers

I would ask that, those who would, pray for my family. I would ask God to help them accept my naturist ways, at the very least, and accept it for themselves at the very best.

So have you switched from a 'Nude Teen' to a 'Naked Teen'?

We talked about it before, remember? I still like 'naked' better.

God Bless
K
