Another beautiful day in our neighborhood

Just another beautiful day in our neighborhood (NJ) after a rather cold and rainy spell since I last wrote. Got outside again today (and hopefully tomorrow, Sunday and Monday all look great) and was warmly greeted by the two moms with stollers that I met last time I was out. This time they came right down the driveway and called into the yard. They came in and talked for a few minutes. Last time they went home and after getting their children off for a nap went outside topfree... said they felt funny for a few minutes and then utteryly relaxed by the warm sun. They have both talked with their husbands and there is only mild reluctance. They couldn't wait to get home today to get outside (I know the feeling!!!). We will get together sometime in the next few weeks for a topfree time. Have to go --- need to pick up the kids soon from school. Have a wonderful weekend. Mother of Twins in NJ/Barbie

Mother of Twins in NJ/Barbie,

This is from your 04-16-2004 post::
'They couldn't wait to get home today to get outside (I know the feeling!!!). We will get together sometime in the next few weeks for a topfree time.'

Barbie,

If it's warm enough for you to sit out in your yard, surely you have other chairs, chaise lounges. Next time, they come by, offer to make hot chocolate -- your choice of beverage offerings -- and invite your new friends to have some. Why wait for the 'right time' to have a topfree time? How long does it take to drink hot chocolate?

Since they obviously want your friendship [they came right on in - my phrase], have a few minutes where they can go top free if they wish. You might use that that/those time[s] to set a visit date. Now, I'm betting the last two oatmeal-raisin cookies, the Ladies will feel free enough to inquire if they might join you during -- beverage time.

May GOD richly bless you.

{{{Barbie}}

Yours,

KuzeN

P. S. Hope that you and the NJ Bares have a really, wonderful weekend. Gotta' be for the Little Bares -- NO School!

Beautiful day...

KuzeN - ever the thinker. I do appreciate you so much. We will be getting more of our outdoor furniture out (maybe this weekend). Up till now its just been one chaise (rest are stored away for the winter), but I will invite those ladies to join me - it is a great opportunity on several levels. Love the phrase the "NJ Bares" - yes, no school (and the parents are happy to have those two at home) we will have a fine weekend - you too! MoTiNJ/Barbie

PS - the tanning salon (once a week for twenty minutes has been very good for me and those previously unexposed areas).

Another beautiful day

April 17 2004, 7:20 PM

Finally the weather is looking up! It's good to get outside after a long, cold winter, isn't it?

Looks like you have a couple of converts in the making. Maybe this is the start of a "while the kids are napping" sunbathing group. Just think, the more wives in the neighborhood that get involved, the less there will be to object.

KuzeN's idea about the chairs was a good one. Get them out, have them handy, but not set up to look like you're exoecting company. That might scare 'em away.

Have a great weekend.
God Bless
K

Sounds good.

I second Kuzen's chaise suggestion and the hot chocolate.

Got out yesterday after we got back from the estate sale and to Lowes to get some straw. Lowes was a mob scene. Normally don't go on a Saturday. Got 12 bales of straw.

Stripped and unloaded the truck into the Gravely cart for 2 trips down below and then washed the VW Cabrio nude after our Saturday popcorn cooked by me.

Loaded electric fence stuff in the cart for when John comes over to help me tomorrow to learn about fences. He's a med guy. Hopefully, he'll want to do it nude (down 100' below the house). Can't be that way in sight of the party next door. One of the gals sent me a note "inviting" me to the party. Wife says it was just to let me know not to show my bod out there for everyone to see. That's why I left my card.

I've actually gotten a sunburn on the back of my neck, where I used to have to apply sun block when I sailed nude in Singapore. The back of my neck seems to get reflections off my bare back and bald head; I guess. I'm wearing a neckerchief to protect my neck now, that plus sweat band around my forehead and sandals.

Ralph
