Self employment can be lonely at times...but very rewarding!
If I decide to create a Christian Fellowship for Naturists in NC/SC, I would ask to make HQ, or at least "home" at Whispering Pines just 30 miles north of Myrtle Beach. Cheef Dan used to have his Gathering there, but will be at White Tail this summer (see posting by
Trailscout.
Maybe if we get to go, we can learn how to get a small group together. However, I think it would be much like getting a small church in-home study group together. I have had experience with that.
The question is, will we have God's blessing? If not, then it is nothing more than another non-landed naturist club.
So this will first take a lot of prayer.
I do appreciate your concern about my self-employment success. I would like to see more naturists become business owners and being a strong community across the nation. We can be stronger, we just need to be braver. Our streangth is not in how strong we are, but how brave we become. A lot of "stong" people crumble where weak people find courage.
1 Cor. 1:26-29 "For you see your calling, bretheren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called; But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are, That no flesh should glory in his presence."
Matt. 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Just make sure we
are gathered in His name, not just in our desires, though we do desire it.)
I know God will put us where He wants us so we can do the work HE wants us to do. And the same will go for you and anyone who "puts his hand to the plow and not look back" and "what so ever you find your hands to do, do it with all your might".
"Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world"
