I suspect that most of you know that today is the National Day of Prayer (www.nationaldayofprayer.org). My dad (according to my memory and my mom) was quite involved in this in the business community. Just thought I would remind you to consider spending a few minutes in prayer today for our nation, our President and our troops. I know my mom and I will. Thanks, Muffin
That's right. You wouldn't want a decorated war veteran who is Catholic in the white house. Why you never know what could happen. Look at the last one we had. JFK, murdered by a communist wack-o!
Muffin, your are perhaps the most special teen on this Board, You, like Holly, appear to 'ahead of your time'. You are possibly the 'Eldest Nude Teen' on this Board. Your sharing helps ALL of us.
You have called your Mom, ""Blessed"". You have grown up with the Love that comes from within. Your Mom and Dad led you so that the Bible is central to your life.
Thank you for reminding all of us about the National Day of Prayer.
Thank you for Muffin's picture and being a very special Cyber Grand Daughter. {{{Muffin}}}
Thank you for the reminder. I have to admit, I let it slip my mind as well, but daily prayer is in our lives anyway. But a special attention to our country and leaders, here and abroad is essential, especially during these trying times for our soldiers.
Our president needs our prayers, not our criticism. As David said about King Saul, "He is God's appointed" even though Saul was not a good leader. David set the example of respecting "God's appointed" whether we agree with the leader or not.
In this case, the more we support our president, the more we will truely support our troops and reach out spiritually to all.
May God bless our President, and bring our troops home safely and in peace. And may Iraq be at peace and find the way, may Jesus come into their lives. God knows, they really need it.
Campus Crusade for Christ is trying to get some Bibles to Iraqi Christian pastors before the government changes over to Iraqi control. There is a chance that they may not be free to accept Bibles after that. Here's a link for those who would like to learn more. Please help if you can!
