Just some odds and ends. Liz did bring up the issue of wanting to shave or trim her pubic hai; she said so many of the girls and women that she saw at the beach has done so. I guess it’s the “thing” – I’m just out of it.. Liz has beautiful brown eyes, long brown hair with redhighlights, she is 5’7” and is long-legged; however she does has an abundance of hair. We took “Jens” advice and stated that since she is still maturing to let “nature” have its course for a while and that we could revisit this when she is 16 – in the meantime I would work with her to see that she is trimmed so that she is not embarrassed when she wears her shorts or a bikini. Both my husband and I agree (she tans nicely and quickly) that she looks great with an all over tan and were surprised how tan she got and how dark her nipples became in such a short time –very attractive (and all the more reason to monitor her).
What I really wanted to tell you all. The three women of the house have been topless much of the time and all seem very comfortable (including my husband). Last night we prayed together (as we always do) and the girls went off to bed while “Ryan” and I stayed up to catch the news. In about ten minutes both girls came down all ready for bed (nude) – they stood there smiling and then ran over and gave each of us a hug and a kiss and ran out of the room. It was a great way to end the day. Ryan and I hope it become a family tradition. Mother of TTT

One of the interesting and valuable aspects of body acceptance is how it opens doors that are other otherwise closed to communication. In this case you have combined loving openness and calm acceptance with working as adults to set and maintain clear limits for your girls. This has built trust between all of you, and now you are being included into intimate aspects of their lives from which so many parents are excluded.
Continue your exploration of clothes-free living, staying near the outer edges of your immediate comfort zone. That way you'll never do anything that you regret, but you will try new ventures on to see how they fit.
Dear Mother of Totally Tanned Teen - if you have been reading the posts here you may find me under "PsyD", "Sherri" and most recently "Bareall". The last name is one that I gave myself - for a longtime I have been a proponent of top free freedom for women and so was comfortable, as was my daughter, being top free in acceptable environments. On vacations we had gone to several top free beaches and enjoed it greatly. Only recently have I become "bottom free" and thus Bareall.
I am a single parent with a wonderful 14 y/o daughter, Nikki. I am not a Christian as they talk about the term here, but am getting close. I like this site because the people here seem genuine, caring, realistic and they have and hold values that are important to me.
My daughter and I only recently started our journey into naturalism and it has been great. I commend you for not wanting you daughter to go to a CO beach without you in sight. I have the same "rule" for my Nikki. We discusssed and decided much as Jen did that 14 is too young to shave the pubic area, but in a few years...Yes, you do want to be sure that your daughter is not embarassed when she wears her shorts or bikini - a little trim should take care of that.
My Nikki tans quickly too and I was also suprised at how dark her nipples became - I suspect its a matter of pigment - we agreed it is an attractive asset.
I thank you for you recent bits and pieces - the idea that both girls would come down nude to hug and kiss you and your husband was a real sign of acceptance of these "changes in your home" - it appears that they are "on board"...as others have said - be safe, think it through, better to be cautious than sorry - and enjoy the freedom that you have in your family.Thanks for your sharing. I agree with Sherri: the hugs you recieved show how quickly things are progressing. If you read back, Miss Jen was concerned for quite some time about hugging her Dad while they were both nude. They finally found that they could still hug the same way as always while nude that they could while clothed. No problem.
Good to see you can talk about all these new issues without embarassment. You and your daughters must have a very close bond.
What a nice thing you are doing for your family. I am so glad you are finding that naturism is so wonderful to share at home. Before long, all of you will probably be spending more time at home nude than clothed.
Proceed at your own pace: before long you will be so comfortable with each other and yourselves. Who knows, perhaps you will "branch out" and visit with others at nude locations or share with friends ...

I am looking forward to my young girl, (17 months) to be "potty trained" so she can be free too! We also are hoping she will soon be weaned off the breasts so she won't get "thirsty" when she sees a womans breast. We are planning a couple of trips this summer to a nude resort and this will be her first. She will be seeing womens breasts all over the place. So you can imagine the humor we may be facing soon! Or embarrassment
But we understand the new freedom the family is sharing. Hopefully, naturism would be the norm around the house for all members of the family very soon!
We just went to a new one yesterday, didn't stay long since we had to visit my sister. It's a new one, the guy is starting a private resort that is more of a place for friends to be than a gated resort. No fees, just bring some good food and helping hand, and a friendly smile.
Just an hour away from me near Siler City, NC.
The other trip will be in Tennessee, we will be going to an AANR function the 12th of this month. We'll work our way there, then leave around Thursday.
Not sure after that.
Hopefully, we'll get a chance to do more, but it has been trying the last couple of years financially. But I have a feeling that it will change real soon.
I'm starting my sign painting shop up again soon. Hopefully I'll have a website for it.
Much to do this summer. But hopefully with more freedom. Can you immagine trying to find more time by working longer and harder?
Maybe I'll just cut out the time worrying about clothing. I'm sure that will make up some time!
