They now have tanning lotion that has a bug repellant in it, too. How convenient is that? I saw a bottle of it on my last trip to Target and was rather impressed with the concept. I didn't buy it, but I was impressed with the invention!
You may want to look at Consumers Report on it first. Did they make the lotion before the repelant or repelant before the lotion?
Probably the best way to handle the bugs, is to put enough sun tan lotion on that they slide off trying to hang on! And besides, I don't think I would like to stick my blood sucker through all that greasy stuff!
I spray that Cutter, all family stuff, onto the top of my head above my sweat band towel and over the top of my top/base of neck and over my arms. It keeps the flies and other bugs away. Other Cutter stuff like Skinsations isn't worth a darn to keep bugs off. It doesn't burn when applied too much like the Cutter but is worthless.
I'll bet body oil has some SPF. Wonder if any studies have been done on it?
Heard on the news today that the naked olympic runners used to scrape off their dirt and body oil after their performances and sell it. It was in demand for various purposes; it seems.
