I'm not looking for a debate on abortion, and
I know it is sort of off the subject of Naturism,
so you can delete it if you want.

I think it is high time we started telling
teens there is more than one path through life.

Every time I hear or see a commercial telling
teens how horrible it is to be a parent, I just
know there is a new rush to the abortion clinics.

I thought I knew how bad abortion was, but I just
saw some new abortion footage on television, really
makes me sick to my stomach.

Given a choice, I would rather see teen parents
getting married than having abortions.

We are failing the young people by neglecting
to teach them respect for life, and the value
of family and marriage.

I agree that abortion is wrong, but I've never actually seen parenthood being downplayed on TV. What I've seen on TV and the media shows a very serious concern over the growing numbers of teens and preteens having premarital sex and getting pregnant. That's bad no matter how you slice it. Part of the problem is that abortion is seen as a viable form of birth-control. What we have to do is teach young people the real consequences (both now and eternally)of premarital sex while teaching them the real benefits (both now and eternally) of remaining celibate until marriage. We also have to love them and support them when those consequences are made real in their lives. They need to know that having their babies is what God wants them to do and help them to go through with their pregnancy. If they absolutely don't want to be a mother than they need to know that giving their babies up for adoption is the most loving way out. Babies are not unwanted. People go out of their way to find a baby to adopt.

I can understand your concern, but let's keep on the subject of Christian Naturism. We are already on a subject people are not comfortable with, but adding a highly debated subject on this forum is asking for trouble and invitation for others to come and abuse this board for other subjects.
