Well, Tuesday night Kevin and I had a quick chat on the new Chat room and found the system working great!

However...we were the ONLY ones here tonight! Thats OK, we knew it would be slow.

Speaking of s l o o o w... where is everyone? I hope everyone is doing OK. We usually get more posters here than this.

Keep safe, hope to hear from you all soon,

Boyd

Holiday time

December 1 2004, 8:57 PM

You guys are runing on Holidat Time. (isn't that a song?)

Well like, I have been making beautiful Crosses with people's names on them. And decorating the inside of the crosses with different color paint. And adding different characteristic bottons(flowers, butterflies, angels, stars, sports items, ect) with colored Glinter glue. And like now, I need to go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a very thin plastic to cover the crosses.

But if you like give me the date of the next chat and how to get there, I can type an be there.

Hehe...

Spumky
By the way... I am meetting with a new job coach this friday for a new job search.

Re: Holiday time

I figured it might be the holidays. I just miss you all when this happens!

We sure hope your new coach will help you get started on the right track. It's hard to find work lately.

I have been trying to get my business going, have avoided getting unemployment checks, but now have to apply for it. It seems we are heading into a hard winter unless something changes.

I will be visiting the local Chamber of Commerce (invited by them) to meet them and meet some local business people. It would cost us $355 to join for a year. It would be worth it, but coming up with the money would be tough right now.

Spunky: Try using kitchen wrap material such as Saran Wrap or Glad Wrap for your coverings. I have used it to "shrink" wrap items for shipping or moving. Works great. I took a tape/cd tower loaded with tapes and wrapped around it. Holds tight! It's just like how they wrap boxes in a manufacturing company for shipping. Same stuff. You can wrap it loose or tight.

Chatting

December 2 2004, 7:05 PM

Hey Spunky,

I don't know if you have seen it or not, but there's a new "Chat" icon at the top of the main forum page. Just click on that and it takes you to the chat. You sign in under "guest", and you're there!

Also, if anybody is in the chat-room, it will show how many there at the same link at the top of the forum page (so you can know to go there and talk!).

I quickly got used to checking to see if anyone is chatting when I'm on the board.

Hope to see you there!!

Later
God Bless
Kevin
