I just started to do something interesting, and I think whoever (whomever?) has the time might also find it interesting.

It's time consuming, but... well, interesting.

I went back, waaaaayyyyyy back, to the very beginning of the forum, and started to read all the posts.

It shouldn't take me too long. At the moment there are only 54 pages...

At the here and now, here on page one, the posts are mainly about nudism and being a nudist, with religious thoughts and implications to living as a nudist. Back on Oct. 13, 2000 ( !), the topic was Christianity, with it's relevance and impact on being nudists.

Not that either way is inherintly bad, just interesting to see the slight shift of focus.

I just finished doing the same thing, and I also noticed the change from the beginning to the present. There are some interesting posts through out those pages! It took me about a week of lunch times at the office to go through them, and I didn't read them all, I kept to those that had responses.

By the way, I believe that this is my first post here! I have been lurking for a while, but never posted here. Thanks for the forum and great site Boyd! I have a link to your site from my site (http://members.cox.net/nytro).

I appreciate your "pray others to nudism" article! It put my prayer life into perspective!

I have gone back too and noticed the change. But I was noticing the change anyway as we were going along. Being the one who started it, it would be more obvious to me, especially when I have to ask those who are going way off track to get back on track!

I'm glad the articles are helping.

Keep "lurking" and post in once in a while.

Hopefully, we'll get some more folks in the chat room next door on Tuesday, which includes you of course!

What happens over time is that we can only talk about the hows and whys of naturism just so much. When the same people are coming in, we can talk something to death.

We are Christians first, then naturists, or as I have said before, "We are Christian Naturists, not naturists who happen to be Christians"

So it would be prudent to keep Christianity first in our lives. Making disciples and teaching them to observe all things Christ commanded us (See the Great Commission in Matthew).

However, as we gain new people, we resume our talk as we did in the beginning. we tell our story, we teach in a Christian frame of mind about our naturism and why we do what we do.

Then once everyone talked it to death, we go back to other topics relating to Christianity and naturism as it comes up.

Its a cycle.

I'm glad somebody got the guts (time???) to read the past posts!
