I've been trying to access some other areas of the site and have been gettign a message that it has exceeded the data transfer limit. Is this a long or short term situation?

Short term. When it gets too busy and a lot of people access this site, the message will pop up if the total has been exceeded for the month.

If I pay these guys some money instead of using the basic free part, they could extend it. I am paying enough to get the ads off, but apparently not enough to maximize the view times.

Don't worry about it, it comes and goes.

Tuesday night the whole Nework54 Server went down. All the forums were down for about 30 minutes or so.
