Saturday,
I went to Johns "resort" down in Siler City, NC.
He feels a little discouraged, but not down completely. He is working very hard to make the place available for naturists to come freely.
As per advice from Cheri (Cheris Travelites) he may ask for a donation of around $15 per person to help cover the expense he has. I helped him with some work around an old "outhouse" which will be converted into a pool pump house when he gets the money to build the pool. Expects the cost at least $3000. and thats if he built it himself. Knowing him and his ability, he will do it! Help from others would be highly appreciated.
What I did was dug some old weeds and brick from around it and put in a garden spot on three sides of it for plants. He has lots of cedar and I took some cedar logs and used them for borders.
He has a picnic area, but need tables. He was going to put the pool there but found it would be far better for a picnic area. Found better place for pool.
Cabin is improving, needs painting, but that part is easy. What he needs is naturists who will use the place with respect, treat others with respect and make a family home away from home.
He likes to call the place "Misty Hole Point". And if anyone asks about our naturism and disagrees without logic or proof, then they must have "Misty Hole Point".
John needs encouragement, he is alone, works all day, then goes home and works on the property. Spent most of the winter alone, then we go in and help him when we can. He loves to have people and family around. He is not concerned with singles, couples, etc. He just wants people around. And he wants them to be socialable, friendly, caring, hard working, responsible, and of course, being nudists would be great! He isn't always nude, but who cares?
People may say he talks too much, but you spend all winter alone and then have folks come over once in a long while! You would talk them to death too!
Hard working. That guy is hard to stop! I have nothing but praise for him and Cheri along with Cheef Dan is on his side! So if you want to be a part of a rustic, growing (slowly but deliberately) place in the middle of NC, then this may be the place for you!
We had one lady that came for the first time there (she raised her children nude in PA.) and she loved it there. Her children, now adults, are hardcore naturists.
I had to go down by myself because my little girl (2yo) is still teething and her back teeth are coming in. Getting a lot of high temps this past week or so and the weather wasn't so good. It turned out great for the few of us that were there, but my wife and little girl wouldn't take it very good.
But they are looking forward to going down there and helping out.
Anyone willing to go and help out or support, let us know.
If you have further concerns, email Cheri and ask her opinion.
Thanks,
Boyd
