Television Actually Helps

I realize that television was the FIRST place I learned about naturism/nudism.
Hawkeye, on MASH, always had his, as many of the others called them, "Nudy
Magazines," and talked about playing nude volleyball. And then there's
always the jokes about "reading" National Geographic. And he did take a stroll
through the camp one time, au natural, to see if anyone would notice.

We learn the best things watching television sometimes, eh?

Two TV episodes

I remember an episode of Threes Company where the guy (names?) had been talked into going to a nudist beach.

He hung around clothed the whole time and would not get out of them. Then at the last, he finally got undressed for a dinner there and was waiting for everyone to come in.....which, you guessed it, they were all clothed but him!

My favorite one was of Family Guy (animated) where they met a nudist family, who did everything in the nude. Shopping, swimming, friends over, school, practice after school, whatever, they were nude all the time!

Yeah, like that'll ever happen!

Typically hollywood thought patterns, even though they took nudity as natural, they still had sexual "behavior" that we nudists "know better".

But I still liked it.

Family Man

By the way, I've not seen this show. What channel is it on?
I do watch King of the Hill -- being set in Texas is awesome.
The writers have it down, that is how life in Texas can be.

Also...

July 2 2005, 2:06 PM

There also was an episode of "The Golden Girls", where Rose, the not so bright one in the group, books a vacation at a bed & breakfast (?) which turns out to be a nudist b & b. The 'girls' finally decide to disrobe for dinner, same situation that Boyd brought up, everyone is expected to dress for dinner. Maybe, GOnude.
