We often switch back and forth between the 4 o'clock news on one Richmond NBC station and Oprah and CNN when adverts come onto the channel with the news.
During one of those, I caught Oprah having the actresses from Desperate Housewives on her show today. She did a blurb on a real life "Desperate Housewife" and told about her going naked in her back yard. The lady talked freely about it, e.g. "Why should I not go naked in my back yard?". She lives in Perrysberg, OH.
The show was not a portrayal of a Christian way to act, but it was a rather positive presentation for nudity. The way the lady in question presented it, it was not strictly to attract men for sexual activity. However, she admitted to doing that in her flirting, etc. The neighbors just drew their blinds when she was in the back yard. Apparently, she's accepted, nudity, sex and all.
Wonder how many caught this and what you thought about it.
I didn't catch it, but I have noticed that there are some acters and actresses who are rather open about their home nudity. It would be nice if my wife was a little more relaxed about my nudity in our backyard. She is fine and rather open about the subject if and when brought up, but still is nervous about me being open physically with those she is not sure of.
But once someone knows and says they have no problem with it, then she is perfectly fine with me going nude in front of them! It's either hold way back or jump forward. She can't quite figure that "somewhere in-between" thing I do!
What I did catch was that your wife apparently has no problem with you jumping back and forth during the commercials! Mine gets frustrated with it. I told her, I would rather watch a bit of this than the commercials!
She likes to watch the "TV Guide Channel" to see whats on. It moves too slow and goes through too many channels we don't watch anyway. I can flip through the five or six main ones a lot quicker. Unfortunately, there are commercials then and still don't know whats on!
How can Gwin watch the TV guide channel? I'm impatient in the two minutes of commercials and start flipping. My mother's in for a rude awakening next month with my father and I, the remote, and our constant channel surfing during commercials. You're right, though, they all run commercials at the same time. UGH!!! Grrrrrr!
It's my wife who flips among the channels at news time when commercials come on. She'll flip through near a half dozen at times. She sometimes stops on Oprah, too, if there's something interesting on.
I usually view the channel previewer thing to see what's on at 8 and 9 pm at night. Or I'll just flip to the Travel and History channels to see what they've got on for those times. They have some interestings things with nakedness involved or Biblical stuff at times.
