My dad was just sent to the hospital this morning, another heart attack.
I think this is a minor one, but he has had a few, including bypass surgery.
I don't think he'll be able to handle that many more. He has recovered from a stroke that left him partially paralyzed, yet was able to get back to normal again! That was a miracle!
My mother went through a major back surgury, that left her standing up straight after several years of pain! That too was a miracle! Even my grandmother, whom they are staying with, is doing OK for her age!
I hope to see them this summer. My folks have gone through a lot in the last year, so I am needing to go down there.
Gas prices shot up again, and I am concerned about just driving down the road, let alone down to Florida.
Boyd,
You have been and remain in my prayers. I know first hand it's hard on you to handle things long distance. (Been there recently.) Your dad is on my list for healing and strength, and your mom and grandmother are in my prayers for the strength and support they need to be with your dad. As you continue to struggle with life in general, especially the car right now, i would ask that God will soon make His will for you and the family known.
Prayer:
Father in heaven we come to you to ask that you place your healing hand on Boyd's dad. You are the God of miracles and we ask that if it is your will that you let him be back to full strength to continue living his life for You. We also ask that you place your gracious and gentle arms around Boyd, Gwin, Megan, Boyd's mother and grandmother, hold them in your grasp and let them know You are with them during this time and forever more. We also know you have told us that we are not to worry about our daily needs, but we ask that you might show Boyd and Gwin the direction and perfect will You want for them Father. We ask this all in your Son's precious name Father. Amen.
