I just want you to know that we horn players think that
we get even more philosophical the longer we drink
beer and play. Of course we also think we play
better:-)

Oh, and by the way, you did ask what you had missed
on the last post of yours. What's that adage?

Oh yeah, "Be careful what you wish (ask) for..."

Good to be back...

Nancy, et al

I've been spending time reading all of what I've missed... and I missed alot.

I read on the current page that somebody called me an "evil twin", and during my reading of the older posts I saw one where you guys were making Star Trek analogies, and I got stuck with Lor (even though I'm more of a Scotty...). Thought that was where the evil twin referance came from, then a few posts later Boyd called me his evil twin. Amazing that I could be honored and insulted all at once!!

Just to let you guys know, the wedding went off without a hitch, which is absolutely amazing. You'd've had to have been there to know how screwed-up things easily could have been.

Still waiting for news from the judge...

Well, back to my reading...

Later
God Bless
Kevin

Kevin,
That's o.k. with me if you would like to be Mr. Scott. Please note that
in that same thread about Star Trek I wondered if Scotty's quote would
be, 'Captain, there be nudists aboard." So, are you still playing Linus
in the Peanuts gang? (You know, you complained about carryiing a
towel a few weeks ago and said you felt like Linus.) Don't you think Boyd
makes a good Charlie Brown (his head and Charlie Brown's are defintely
looking closer in appearance. ?)

You'll still have to discuss the "evil twin" line with the Vulcan Android.
HE started that. Of course it was in reply to me leaving my name out yet
again that week. Oops!

Aren't you glad to be back!?!

Nancy

Mr Scott

Prayers for the family, friends, and fans of James Doohan.

Without his marvelous addition to the Star Trek universe, it would not have been quite what it is.

He has gone boldly on, and will be missed.

God Bless
Kevin

Kevin,
Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard that he died on
Wednesday. I still remember, quite fondly, hearing him
when I was doing my undergraduate degree. I also
got his autograph that night, which I still have. James
Doohan is one of those actors that don't come along
very often, but will sujrely be missed.
