Hey Boyd,

Good insight in that letter you wrote that was in issue 108 of the FLF. What you said was right in line with what Steve had to say about how differant people can have diffetant views on what God wants.

I've been thinking about that same thing for a while, with all the angst I have about differant denominations and stuff. Amazing how the same points can come out from multiple people at the same time, huh?

Think God's trying to tell us something?

Later

Took a while to respond to this, but I had to go back to read again what I wrote!

I just got a book today titled "Your Road Map For Success" by John C. Maxwell. You can find bio's on him at http://www.injoy.com

He seems to be teaching that it is not the big cars, houses, vacations, the major goals, (though those are sweet rewards) but the journey along the way. Sometimes that seems like a very long journey!

I guess what I am trying to learn here is that naturism as we would like it is going to be a long struggle and something we have to fight for. Not fight as in battles with our mates, even though that may include it, but a battle for our freedoms and what we are willing to sacrifice for it.

Once we are "successful" and our dreams come true, we can be nude in or out of our homes as long as we would like, would we be happy? Would we find peace?

If everyone in the world can be nude anywhere, anytime, to work, school, mall, church, public and private, we would have no need for naturist resorts or forums like this one! In fact, i can take down my website and we may never have met!

Are our churches like that? Are we holding back and keeping the status quo in this world? As long as we hold back the truth, we can see sin in the world and true freedom will never exist, therefore, we will always need the church to sustain us. Not that a church is bad, but we are so busy trying to grow the church, running a church, etc, that we may be losing focus of what the church really is and is about.

Often, we see others (some may see it in me) finding ways to be naturists and getting by with it or actually finding some freedom they don't have. I can understand. It gets frustrating. Sometimes we want to go forward and others hold us back, then later, those same people come to us wondering why we hold back in life.

Gwin and I are going to go over this book. We WILL Succeed, we WILL win! It's a done deal! Thats it! PERIOD!

Or as it says in Maxwells subtitle, "You can get there from here".
