I finally got this infernal machine working again...

It only took about an hour and a half of real time, but it's been... what? Two weeks...? Three...? for me to get that time that I could dedicate to fixin' the silly thing.

Oh, well...

And on a good note, the fender for my bike will be back from the paint shop sometime this week, so I'll have time to put it together and make one or two of the last runs of the year before I have to put it up for the winter.

It's been down for over two weeks, and it's killin' me!!!

I'm glad you're back up and running on both accounts.
I missed having you around a lot and getting your point
of view on things.

By the way, one advantage of one living in Texas is that
one could ride their bike almost year around. Of course,
I'll never have one because I can't quite get a horn, briefcase,
and the inevitable "bag of tricks" (other books, resources, and
CD's) I need on a bike.
