I want to ask everyone who wants to copy their responses on this forum to another forum or neweletter, to first ask permission before copying OTHER peoples responses.

I don't mind (in fact, I'm flattered) you using this forum for a good resource, but if you want to copy your own, thats fine, it's yours to copy, but make sure you get permission from any other posts made by other people, even if it is a response to your post.

In past, I have copied information, posts, interesting ideas, from here, but I always asked permission first. Such as the adopted prayer scrolling at the top. I asked permission before I did that.

This is a public forum where anyone can read what has been posted, so if anyone wants to quote me, that is fine. I do not expect anyone to have to ask my permission (I am not anyone special and again its public). If you decide to use it on a web site or something like that, that is fine, too, but in that case, I would at least like to know about it.

I think it was more of a concern of not so much privacy, but of consideration.

Like Greg said, if it's to be part of another site I would definately like to know about it, but other than that I don't have any problem with it.

You are right, though, Boyd. It would always be considerate to let each other know, but sometimes that can slip through the cracks.
