I haven't checked this in a few days because I was not able to get in for a while. I'm not sure if others had that problem or not. I barely got into the chat Monday night, even then, I got in late.
I have had no trouble getting in. But then I usually check in arround 06:00 in the morning when most people are still trying to get their eyes open. Have a great day. WAB
I know what you mean about not being able to get in the forum. In the past, I would click on the site and the forum page would just stall with maybe the "Boyd Allen's Christian Naturism" banner at the top. Usually, if I came back later in the day it cleared up so I don't know if it was our broadband with too much traffic, Network 54 servers being bogged down or even our former desktop acting sluggish. Things are fine, now, but I still didn't get on chat Monday night because of work again. Christmas party for an elderly group at the church I work at and technical support was needed. Its too bad that once again the mistakes of the featured singer made me look like a moron and he didn't speak up to say he had erred. No good deed goes unpunished. I'm just spouting off here, but hey, what better place? Fortunately, I've found more grace and forgiveness here than any organized religion I've ever been involved with.
I had some singers do the same thing to me, back when Myra and I were running the sound-board at our old church.
The head of the sound team had set up the microphones a little poorly, and the first soloist for the visiting choir couldn't be heard too well, no matter what I did. So, what do they do for the second solo? One of the other choir members picked up one of the microphones from out in front while my attention was on getting the music started. That microphone happened to be turned WAY up, and when she started bellowing... uh, singing... she 'bout blew the place up. Only took me two or three seconds to figure it out and fix it, but it made me feel like an idiot...
Funny thing, though, is that nobody mentioned it. Nobody had anything but good things to say about the entire performance.
Sometimes I miss running the sound, but most times... not.
I had no problem getting into chat last Monday myself and you saw the time i entered chat. I have had no problems getting into this site either. When was the last time you ran a virus check and spamware check, (Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4, Ad Aware SE Personal)? There are several Online Virus Scanners that one can use. Symantec, PandaOnlineVirusScan, Ravantivirus, Bitdefender, Trendmicro just to name a few. I am sure that if one did a search for "Online Virus Scanners", many will be turned up.
I should add a question here, Boyd. Does your computer drag only on the Network 54 site ordoes it seem to drag in other sites as well? If it seems to drag only in the Network site then I agree with Terry's assessment. If it seems to drag on other sites as well, then I recommend the scans in my other post.
