Just wanted to share some good news with all of you.
I had my first classroom observation on Tuesday evening in one
of my classes. After class we talked and he was very pleased.
But I got the evaluation report today and it was an ego boost!
It seems he was quite pleased with what I'm doing.
I have applied for a full-time position that will hopefully make as
long as funds are approved for it. We'll see how that goes. In the
meantime, I've already been approached and accepted the offer
of at least four more courses in the fall.
Spring break officially begins for me when I finish teaching lessons
at noon on Friday. I'll be around over the weekend (and lurking around
here some), and then fly to Dallas to see the doctor. I'll keep my
rental car that I always get when I fly up there and drive myself to the office,
and drive two hours west of there to visit with some friends until Friday.
I'm looking forward to getting out of Dodge, so to speak.
