I have viewed this page for a long time, but have never posted. Simply put I think this is an outstanding webpage.

My name is Jonathan. When I was a little kid I wondered why people wore clothes. I wondered what it would be like if people just went naked. I already knew that there were differences between men and women, so why the hiding? I found out about naturism when I was eighteen years of age. It looked liberating, pure, unerotic, and free, but I couldn't help but think to myself, "no way would God ever allow this." Still I decided to ask the Lord myself. I expected the Lord to tell me to stay away, and to tell me that it was a wicked carnal lifestyle. To my surprise, he didn't. Instead I got a warm feeling that told me "Go for it. This is a wonderful thing." I couldn't believe it. I then looked up at the portrait of Jesus above my bed, and to my surprise, he was smiling at me. I then removed all my clothes and I felt him say to my heart that it was pure before him. Since then I haven't wanted to turn back.

Sadly it's hard to find naturist friends. Most people are vehemently against it or are reluctant to try it. Oh well I at least hope to make some friends on this page even if they are long distance.

I'm Laura, a 23yo Texas gal, I will graduate from college on Saturday and then move a couple hours north to continue my education. I definitely understand how you feel about kinda being forced to stay "in the closet". Around here there aren't any nudist resorts or anything of the sort, so it's pretty much home nudity and that's it, unless you are a little more on the daring side. Would you mind telling us where you are located? What other kind of nudist experiences have you had, if any?

Sadly I haven't had a lot of experiences. I went swimming a couple of times at a New Mexico based one. In Utah I went to a skinny-dipping gathering with the Family Skinny Dippers (an excellent group by the way). I h ave modeled for art classes. I once hiked up the mountains, and when hardly anyone was coming down the trail I stripped all my clothes off.

At college I almost got some friends to go skinny-dipping and free-hiking with me. I KNOW they wanted to go, but they were still a little too nervouse. But deep down I get the feeling they wanted to.

New Mexico is depressing. I hardly have any friends here. I had so much more up in Utah. Most people can't seem to connect with me down here. I really don't have much of a chance finding naturist/nudist friends down here.

Oh yes, since you asked I live in Albuquerque New Mexico for about three months until I move back up to Ephraim Utah for the Fall semester.

Glad you like it here. We work hard (easier to work harder when nude) to keep it clean and family friendly. And of course, Christian.

When my wife and I first looked into naturism, we were studying it over a few weeks, then we prayed about it together, and then she said "As we were praying, weight was just lifted off my shoulders and I felt a sense of peace."

That was around 10 years ago and shortly after that, we went to a naturist resort and I built the BACN website. Around 2000, we got this forum started. Its been going strong ever since.

We are glad you found us and we hope you will stay with us for a long time.

It has been slow the past month, but I think it will pick back up again soon.

Hi Jonathan! Excellent witness. I enjoyed reading it. And welcome to the group. It may be hard to find friends elsewhere, but not here. This is one of the friendliest places I have been. Well, I mostly just wanted to welcome you to the group and thank you for your story. Excellent!
