We all know who Jeff Bowman is, he is a pastor out in California who started his own Spa business for naturist couples.

Receiving the award before a sell-out crowd during the Chamber installation and awards banquet, Jeff and Judy expressed their love for the city and the people who reside within its boundaries. Building a business from scratch is one thing, but acquiring a run down business and its real estate, then turning it around to become a top-end five star Spa with international recognition in less than 3 years is nothing short of miraculous.

In 2003 the couple acquired the “Kismet Lodge Spa-Tel” on Mountain View Rd and has poured their heart and soul into the restoration and creation of a unique “European Style” spa that offers its guests “more than a vacation.” They are passionate about customer service, quality accommodations and providing their customers a unique clothing optional experience in a safe environment.

Prior to owning Living Waters Spa Jeff spent many years in the computer industry working for notebook computer maker, Toshiba America in charge of customer service / product support. Jeff, assisted by Judy was also a minister in several non-denominational churches from 1978 until 2003. “People have always been our business” said, Bowman.

In January of this year Living Waters Spa was also recognized by TripAdvisor.com. In the category of ‘Top 10 Hidden Gems in the World,” Living Waters placed ninth, in the company of hotel properties in Greece, England, Italy, France, Mexico, Spain and the United States.

Oooo, very nice. I've noticed the whole Palm Springs area, including the surrounding towns, seems to be very nudist-friendly and support all the naturist venues. Its just good business. Look at how many dollars nudist establishments bring in. Besides, its just good to see people run a business without elected officials casting their personal biases, whether they be religious or not, and trying to run the business out of town. After we stayed at the Terra Cotta 10 years ago, we received their newsletter for a while and I remember one wrote about the city council having a meeting there and afterwards some council members stayed for some nude recreation. I found that fantastic to read of so many attitudes open to trying somthing new. I just hope our business can prosper as well as their's and become a secular ministry as much as they have made the spa.

That's really neat! It's a testimony to their faith in beginning the
spa and having people there and a greater testimony of their
faith that this was their calling, they heard "THE VOICE," and
it has become their ministry to so many people in a short time --
both secular and Christian. Although my bet would be that
they live out their Christianity on a daily basis with everyone
they come in contact with.

We have been distantly observing Jeff’s writings for some time way out here in the foreign missions fields, they have endured many trials, and remained faithful to the Leading of the Lord, it is good to see these blessings coming to them now, PTL.

If and when we come to the USA we would hope to be able to visit their mission and ministry. May the Good Lord continue to guide and bless them and their ministry…
