Sorry Jon, didnt' mean to do that. But you are not intruding! Sometimes we do chat just see ourselves chat and if you feel that way, we will definately do something to change that!
So please come around again and we'll make sure we are there for everyone.
Now sometimes i have noticed that if someone tries to write a long subject that has to be sent in two or three attempts to get the full message out, it will get lost in the middle of the conversation. It is designed for shorter and quicker notes, not long subjects like we do here on the forum. It has a limit on how many words are sent at one time in a single post.
Example: Instead of coming up with a question about a baseball team that with a long history of the Braves, you can ask "How 'bout them Braves?" and get a quicker response! (OK, maybe not
that simple!)
The chat room moves too quickly for us to sit and wait for the rest of the question over two or three posts and several refreshes.
Keep it simple, short and be bold about it. We do get off topic quickly, but stick around, we do get there eventually. Usually we are also waiting for others to join us before we get too deep in theology. Get that deep and we'll need plenty of hands to pull us out if we get into trouble!
Try again, we'll work on it!
But if you do have some serious material to cover and its going to take more than a quick chat room to cover it, then by all means post it here so we can all have time to think it through (the other problem with quick chat rooms) and give intellegent answers by a larger group.
Thank you for letting us know so we can do something about it. That goes for anyone who has this problem and have stopped for that reason.
BTW, just to let you know, I have posted stuff that got ignored many times! So don't feel bad, it's not personal!
