I have sleep aphnea and can not sleep alll night through maby nights... I go to internet and cable TV and keep going...

By the way I was an over the night dj and evening dj and thus find 2 am wiude awake as being acceptable wide awake times..

When he couldn't sleep, King David did some of his best meditating while he walked among the troops at night before a big battle. I am beginning to think that when you are in that state of not being able to sleep, TV is not the best antidote. A good book or better yet, a good long walk and meditating works best for me.

The last time I had that opportunity, I took a walk up our street and back in the nude. It was around 1 AM. Then I went to our back steps and sat there and did some talking to God.

The evidence is clear that we can retrain our bodies to respond more efficiently to mildly cold temperatures while nude.

Our bodies can learn to be comfortable nude in cool weather as well as hot.

In answer to your specific question, it is possible that if our mechanism of thermoregulation is stimulated regularly by outdoor nudity in cool weather, we may have some lasting benefit even while clothed in chilly weather. An interesting question!

I am amazed at how much cool weather nudity is possible in the right conditions.

If you allow me to wear shoes and a hat (and nothing else), I can tolerate even greater cold, well below freezing provided that humidity and wind are not too high.

Exercise also permits us to be comfortable in greater cold.

Ramblinman, I agree with you. Just be careful no one see's you. I say this, not because you are exposed. Instead, a man in freezing cold wearing only hat and boots may find himself running from men in white coats and butterfly nets. LOL! In todays world it doesn't take much to get on the crazy list. Mostly, because no can mind their own business. In the fall, I went on a nude hike wearing only sandals. Anyone hunting would have thought I had flipped my lid. The cool thing was I saw more wildlife than ever, they had no fear of me. I walked with-in a foot of a wild rabbit. He just hopped around behind me like it was nothing. I love being in nature!

I am very discrete, so please don't worry about me. I am amazed at our bold friend Boyd.
Here at home, I sometimes sneak out into my back yard long after dark, but that's about the extent of it.
I have been skinnydipping on remote beaches, taken a shower at an open-air shower in a wilderness campground. In settings like this, one has a reasonable expectation of privacy and if you see that someone is offended, all you have to do is apologize and cover up. There's no legal hassle.

I tried a bit of nude driving one summer night in south Georgia. It was refeshing and I had plenty of privacy. I also did a bit of it during the day. All I had to do when someone passed me in the other lane, was to do a quick coverup with the roadmap or a towel. I would not do this in the city or any place with frequent stops.

My goal is to be nude in as many safe settings as possible. I make a great effort not to be seen.
