This fellow has some good ideas, but to be blunt, he is not a professionally trained writer and it shows.
I think that he has enough quality content that it could be worked up into a fairly good online book, but the services of a professional writer are clearly needed.
Sources need to be cited, over-the-top assertions need to be culled, spelling needs correction throughout the text and the web format itself is burdensome to read. If the writer cannot post this in a more readable form, perhaps a Web designer could complete the task to make it easier to browse from chapter to chapter, return to index, follow hyperlinks, etc.
Some of the images may be copyright material, so he needs to make sure that permission is obtained or the photos removed.
I think a naturist pastor needs to proofread his theological arguments. Some are totally erroneous, some need modification (poor exegesis), some simply don't cite scripture and some are fine as is.
This document should also establish the credentials of the author, if possible. If nothing else, a naturist pastor (and we here know a few!) should write a preface to lend it greater credibility.
I could tell by the first paragraph that he thinks in scholarly terms more than in entertaining kind of writing. A lot of ramlbing like he's a college proffesor writing a text book. Edit, dude. Much of it (and I didn't read too much, myself) felt like technical writing for industry.
Right on, Ralph!
I have read long novels by lamplight from the comfort of my recliner chair. My body cannot endure sitting at the computer screen for hours of reading.
I admire the desire of this fellow to give a comprehensive presentation of the reasons for Christian naturism, but the nature of the medium, the Internet, demands that we absorb it a few pages at a time.
How do you eat an Internet Elephant?
One byte at a time!
Thanx for your helpful comments, have listened to them, and sincerely
have tried to improve the website as you suggested. Have added hyperlinks,
and cleaned up a bit, and will seek to improve even more.
Have added an opening paragraph which should capture your attention,
and hopefully many others, but we need to get really serious about this issue,
which this website hopefully will get people into.
The issue is the Gospel and pure nudity, non sexual. But as you can see,
most nudity is associated with the sexual, and unfortunately, society
especially in America has equated nudity with sex, as if it is a given.
I for one believe that God created our bodies for only one purpose, and one
purpose only, to share this vast universe through the temples we are.
And if that leads to great joy, hey, that is what I am all about.
I invite others to check out my website, and for you to pass along this
web address truthislife.freehostia.com/ to everyone you know who is
open to the body created very good by a perfect God.
Yes, I am improving the website, and invite you to check it out again, and
help me make it even better.....
Yours in Christ, as we all know, if you are not willing to bear, bare,
the whole truth, you do not even know about Jesus.
God only sees the Heart, and Only God sees the heart, to the core
of who we are. Yes, both are correct.
All these websites have some truths contained within them,
but my website attempts to go much deeper than all of these
websites, mainly to focus on the body as the central theme
to the simple Gospel that Children understand. We teach children
as a society in whole absolutely wrong about body rejection,
and not enough about what Jesus said absolutely about the body
more than sufficient raiment.
If you know something is good, you must ally with it, if you
are compelled by the law of Love.
Hey, I am relatively new in writing websites, have a full time job,
wife in hospital for major surgery, close friend with cancer, etc,
but hey, I am doing my best to do all that you have suggested, and
if you check out my website again, you will notice alot of changes
to the better....thanx....keep on giving me your imput.....
