A while back this forum addressed the issue of honesty in our relationships. At that time I was using a false name, I can't even remember what it was. I swithed to using my real name, so common that it can't really be connected to anyone. On this and many other forums I see many cool online names that I have been thinking about adopting one. Since I love to walk and love to be bare I am considering "Walking Bare".
I know this is goofy but do y'all think using a different online name is ok and do you know if this one is taken?
You could run a Google search to make sure that the handle "Walking Bare" is not being used, especially not by someone who is not worthy of the name.
Otherwise, I am fine with nicknames.
I don't feel like an anonymous lurker here.
Boyd and Kevin have met me in person more than once and know plenty about me, including my real name. This forum is a positive, friendly place, but not beyond the view of a few whom I would rather not reveal my name. "Ramblinman" describes my love of travel, so it says as much about me or more than my real name does.
I have no idea if that name is taken, but if it is, it's not used here!
Just wear the name well (and nothing else) and of course, keep using it here and not change it. When someone changes their pseudo names a lot, we can't tell who they are.
So as far as I am concerned, it's a cool name! Go for it.
My handle is merely the original Hebrew form of my given name. I really don't care if someone visiting here finds out my real identity; I figure they're here for essentially the same purpose as I. I use "jochanaan" on several other forums.
